Abstract:
A storage component for a storage system generally includes at least one or more microcapsules applied to the storage component. The at least one or more microcapsules include an aromatic encapsulate configured to release a fragrance and/or chemical to thereby associate the fragrance and/or chemical with the storage component. And, a method for associating a fragrance and/or chemical with a storage component generally includes encapsulating at least one or more desired fragrances and/or chemicals in multiple microcapsules, and coating at least part of a storage component with the microcapsules. The encapsulated fragrances and/or chemicals are configured to be released from the microcapsules to thereby associate the fragrances and/or chemicals with the storage component.

A touch switch apparatus for detecting the presence of an object such as a human appendage, the apparatus having a touch pad, an electric field generated about the touch pad and also having a preferably integrated and local control circuit connected to the touch pad and to a controlled device. The touch switch apparatus also having at least one of an input circuit portion for providing input signals to a decision circuit, swamping capacitance, active blocking devices, peak detector circuits, and a dual connection output latch circuit portion.
Abstract:
A table unit including a work surface with a first perimeter side and a second perimeter side. The table unit has a base that includes a floor support, a pedestal that extends upwardly from the floor support, and a top support. An upright wall portion is connected to the base. The pedestal has an adjustable length. The top support is supported on the pedestal and includes a frame and a slide. The frame is rotatable about an axis and the slide is linearly movable with respect to the frame. The work surface is mounted to the slide and is movable with the slide. Further, the work surface can rotate with the frame between at least a first position, with the first perimeter side adjacent the upright wall portion, and a second position, with the second perimeter side adjacent the upright wall portion.
Abstract:
A shelving system includes a support post having a mounting surface and a plurality of vertically spaced retention members extending from the mounting surface. A shelf includes a bracket member configured for coupling to a first of the vertically spaced retention members. A support bracket includes an attachment portion configured for coupling to a second of the vertically spaced retention members adjacent the first vertically spaced retention member and a support portion configured for coupling to the bracket member.
Abstract:
A modular tile adapted for mounting onto a flat surface, comprising an edge connector; an edge receiver configured to accommodate the connector; and a plurality of flat units, wherein each unit comprises a central opening with two dimensions with a first dimension smaller than a second dimension. The modular tiles are connected by releasably securing an edge connector of a first modular tile to an edge receiver of a second modular tile.
Abstract:
A movable shelf (P) for a refrigerator door of the type that comprises an internal panel (11), against which are removably affixed shelves (12) provided with a rear wall (12a), said movable shelf (P) comprising a support (20) having a mounting portion (21), disposed between the internal panel (11) and one of said shelves (12) and which is slidingly fitted along said rear wall (12a) of said one shelf (12), and a lower portion (22) projecting downwardly from said shelf (12) and carrying a tray (30), in order to be vertically displaced, said support (20) incorporating and upper portion (23) rotatively supporting a knob (40) which is operatively coupled to the tray (30) and which is displaced between a first position, in which it maintains the tray (30) in the lowered position, and a second position, in which it conducts the tray (30) to the elevated position.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to integration of touch switches with integrated thermoformable, injection molded, and other substrates to yield integrated touch switch/control panel assemblies. The ensuant assemblies can include ridges, depressions, anchors, overlaps, rivets and bezels or other housings. They can have any combination of flat and curved surfaces. Further, such assemblies can be incorporated into components of other assemblies, such as automobiles.
Abstract:
A switch panel includes one or more touch responsive switch devices and an integrated decorative fascia. Both the switch devices and decoration are applied to the same substrate, eliminating the need for a separate user interface panel. Each switch device can include one or more electrodes and a circuit for inducing an electric field about the electrode(s) and responding to disturbances to the electric field.
Abstract:
The gravity feed shelf design (34) can be supported in either the cantilever configuration or upon a warehouse-style rack (112) and includes an upper slip surface layer. The shelf design (34) includes dividers (170) which can be selectively positioned on the upper slip surface layer (162) of the shelf (34) to provide for adjustable width channels to arrange the merchandise in a gravity feed configuration upon the shelf (34). The shelf design (34) includes an open frame configuration which supports a plurality of inverted box-shaped channels (100) coupled together to provide a stable, rigid surface to support the merchandise thereon. A slip surface layer (162) is then positioned atop the channels (100) and open frame for the gravity feed advance of the merchandise on the shelf (34).
Abstract:
A cooler display rack (10) for use in a walk-in refrigerated cooler (12) consists of a series of L-shaped frame sections (30) formed from generally upright posts (16) secured at their bottom end by an elongated shoe (18) to form the individual frame sections. The frame sections (30) are joined to adjacent frame sections by spacer panels (32) and by a plurality of shelves (34) supported in a cantilevered manner between a pair of adjacent posts (16). The individual shelves (34) are supported between the posts by shelf support brackets (66) and can be selectively positioned vertically along the height of the post, horizontally forward and backward (Fig. 7) relative to the post, and angularly (Fig. 8) with a gravity feed inclination between an approximate 8 degree forward slope and approximate 1 degree back slope. Bumper wires (50) are inserted through holes (116) in the shelves at the front edge thereof for retaining merchandise contained on the shelves. In one embodiment, a gravity feed shelf (130) includes selectively positionable dividers (170) attached on a slip surface layer (162) of the shelf.
