Abstract:
The invention relates to a dispensing system comprising a dispenser (20) for sections of a material web (12) wound onto a roller (3), which are to be separated. A supporting rod (1) which comprises, on each end, a bearing journal (4, 5) protruding out from the roll, is provided. At least one of the two bearing journals (5) has a fitting surface (9) which is not designed as a rotational surface. The dispenser comprises, for each bearing journal (4, 5), a guide (21, 24) extending until a dispensing position (10), and a counter surface (23) for the fitting surface (9) is provided at the beginning of the guide (21) for each bearing journal (5) provided with the fitting surface (9) The insertion of the roller (3) into the dispenser (20) is only possible if the fitting surface (9) coincides with the counter surface thereof (23). Said counter surface (23) of the dispenser (20) on the guide (21) extends until in the dispensing position (10) and the roller (3) is rotatably arranged about the central area (2) of the supporting rod (1) which does not rotate in the dispensing position (10)
Abstract:
The invention relates to a portable sheet product dispenser (1 ) for dispensing a strip of a sheet product, comprising a container for accommodating a source (5) of sheet product a dispensing piece (4) to be removably inserted into an opening (33) of the container in at least two different states, said states being reversible, wherein in a one state the dispensing piece (4) protrudes outwardly from the container such that a dispensing opening (42) is elevated from an outer surface of the container, wherein in another state the dispensing piece (4) protrudes inwardly into the container, and wherein the dispensing piece (4) has a base portion (41) to be inserted into the opening (33) with two orientations so that the base portion (41 ) is held into the opening in form-fit or force-fit manner. The dispensers (1 ) allow providing a dispensing opening so that withdrawal of a sheet product is facilitated. Furthermore, the portable dispenser (1 ) can be set into a compact configuration to gain space during delivery and transportation.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an end plug (1) to be inserted axially into the centre of an end of a paper roll, and provided with a holding element (3) adapted hold and /or guide said end of said paper roll in correct position in a dispenser, said holding element being movable between a transport position, in which the whole of the holding element is accommodated within the interior of an outer sleeve (2) of the end plug, and an active position, in which a part of the holding element protrudes outwardly from an outer end of the outer sleeve, the outer sleeve includes a conical wall (8), the base end of which defines the outer axial end of the outer sleeve, the holding element includes two opposite slide elements (6,7) guided in diametrically opposite spoke elements (11,12) projecting inwards in a radial direction in relation to the inner wall of the conical wall of the outer sleeve. According to the invention the outer sleeve (2) has such a shape that reaction forces acting on the outer sleeve when it is inserted into the centre of an end of a paper roll are larger in at least two opposite regions thereof lacking inwardly projecting spoke elements (11,12) than in regions from which spoke elements project inwards.
Abstract:
A dispenser for a centre-fed roll (11 ) of web material (12) in the form of tissue paper or nonwoven material. The dispenser has a dispenser opening (16) which in one aspect of the invention has an elongated shape wherein one side edge (18) is provided with tearing means (17) and the opposite side edge (19) is smooth and free from tearing means, and wherein the length (L) of the dispenser opening (16) is between 40 and 90% of the roll diameter and the width (W) of the dispenser opening is at least 10 times the thickness of the web material and at least 5 mm, but no more than 40 mm. In a further aspect of the invention the dispenser is portable, wherein at least a substantial part of the dispenser is made of a moisture and tear resistant flexible material adapted for multiple use and the dispenser further comprises a reclosable opening (21) through which the roll of web material may be inserted into the dispenser.
