Abstract:
Dispenser for rolls (1, 2) of tissue paper, the dispenser comprising a housing (10) for accommodating at least two of said rolls (1, 2), an access opening (14) defined in said housing for allowing access to the rolls, and a closure (21) for selectively closing a portion of the access opening, the closure being slideably mounted to the housing between a first position closing a first portion (19) of the access opening preventing access to a first roll (1) of said rolls and a second position closing a second portion (20) of the access opening preventing access to a second roll (2) of said rolls, wherein the closure comprises a body (22), a first wall (33) movably connected to the body at a first edge (39) of the first wall; and a second wall (34) movably connected to the body at a first edge (39) of the second wall, wherein the first and second wall are urged toward each other to respectively position second edges (40) of the first and second walls opposite to the first edges in a blocking position in which sliding of the closure into the second position is blocked until a predetermined amount of paper of the second roll (2) has been dispensed and in which sliding of the closure into the first position is blocked until a predetermined amount of paper of the first roll (1) has been dispensed, wherein the closure comprises a first spring (45) urging the first wall toward the second wall and a second spring (45) urging the second wall toward the first wall, the spring force of the first and second springs being configured so as to automatically return the closure into the first position when sliding of the closure into the second position is blocked and to automatically return the closure into the second position when sliding of the closure into the first position is blocked.
Abstract:
A system for consecutively dispensing paper sheet material from a stub roll and a primary roll which utilizes a pivoted transfer door to locate a lead end portion of the primary roll in dispensing position responsive to disengagement between the transfer door and a pivoted lever supporting the stub roll.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a roll (2) of centrally fed wipes (3) comprising a reinforced portion (4) for facilitating threading of a dispensing opening (5) in a dispenser (1).
Abstract:
Tools, devices and methods of modifying existing toilet paper and paper towels that do not have inner cardboard tubes with insert adapters to modify the nondefined openings in the rolls. The adapter tools can slide onto the ends of the spindles and have narrow tip exteriors, and/or have threaded exterior surfaces, and the like. Inserts can have spiral cut grooves or spiral raised ribs, with a chamfered tip end and an enlarged base end.
Abstract:
Abstract:
The invention relates to an end plug (1) for coreless paper rollsincluding a central body (3). According to the invention at least three resilient elements (4-7) protrude from the central body (3) and press resiliently against the interior of a paper roll when the end plug is inserted into an end of a paper roll, the radial extension of the resilient elements being influenced by rotation of said plug or a part thereof.
Abstract:
There is prpvided a dispenser (10) for rolls of paper(12), including a housing with two spaced-apart sides (16, 16') and a rigid member (18) connecting the spaced-apart sides and one axle (20) extending between the sides, the axle having a plurality of rollers (22, 24) strung therealong and rotatable thereabout and being positioned to engage a curved surface of a roll' of paper placed in the dispenser. A plurality of the rollers is arranged for at least partial non-circular rotation wherein a point on the outer surface of the rollers ascribes an elliptical path while engaging a surface of the roll of paper. The rollers are arranged for elliptical rotation, which will impart to the roll of paper a rocking and wobbling motion, thereby reducing the contact, friction and drag between the surfaces of the roll of paper and the surfaces of the remaining rollers along the axis.
Abstract:
An adapter (10) for dispensing coreless or solid rolled product from an existing recessed roll product dispenser (90) is disclosed. The adapter (10) also allows for rolled product to be dispensed from the existing recessed dispenser (90) where the rolls being dispensed may have a larger diameter than allowed by the recessed dispenser without the adapter. A system for dispensing coreless or solid rolled product from an existing recessed dispenser is also disclosed.
Abstract:
Apparatus (10) for dispensing rolled sheet material comprising: a roll of sheet material (12) oriented around a roll axis (14), and a disposable member (11) disposed around the roll (12). The disposable member comprises a front wall (16) disposed adjacent an end of the roll, a sidewall (18) adjoining the front wall and disposed at a side of the roll, and a connecting member for engaging a wall bracket. A line of weakness (20) is disposed in the sidewall (18) such that a portion of the sidewall can be removed to form an aperture (22) for dispensing the sheet material.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a paper roll holder with brake for dispensing use of paper rolls or the like. The paper roll holder comprises a heavy base (1) to which two column-like parts (2a) and (2b) are fixed, against which the paper roll rests and in between which the paper runs and which at their ends have suitably shaped cutting edges or serration, if the paper web is not perforated. A ring and wedge-shaped part (3) as well as a cover (5) with a spring (7) fixed to it are mounted in bearings to parts (2a) and (2b) and a spring (9) fixed to the base are all pressing the paper roll against the column-like parts (2a) and (2b). The form, roughness and weight of parts (3) and (5) and the spring forces of springs (7) and (9) are chosen so that by pulling the paper it easily unwinds but the paper breaks off with a little jerk using only one hand. In the roll holder also rolls without core can be used and then springs are not needed, or the holder can be built without the ring-shaped part (3), in which case only springs (7) and (9) press the paper roll against parts (2a) and (2b). The holder is normally placed on the table but can also by transforming the base be fixed to the wall.
