In a general aspect, a monitoring system detects presence of an object in a space, e.g., when no motion is detected. Motion of an object in a space is detected by analyzing a first set of signals based on wireless signals transmitted in a first time period. Lack of motion in the space is detected by analyzing a second set of signals based on wireless signals transmitted in a second, subsequent time period. Whether the object was present in the space during the second time period is detected by analyzing the second set of signals.
Abstract:
A system and method for detecting and addressing silent failures in a satellite communication system includes a satellite, one or more test terminals deployed within coverage beams of the satellite, and a central station configured to communicate with the test terminals. The test terminals are configured to establish a communication link over the satellite communication system, perform a plurality of tests, and transmit the test results to the central station. The central station: determines if system performance is below specified levels, and initiates at least one solution to improve system performance.

A communication device is arranged to operate in a cellular communication system and report Channel State Information, CSI, including a channel quality by a Channel Quality Indicator, CQI, which reports a CQI set. The communication device comprises a receiver arranged to receive antenna-specific reference signals, a channel estimator arranged to evaluate channel conditions from the reference signals to determine values of a CQI set, a reporting processor arranged to determine whether a bounded differential reporting format prevents values of the CQI set to be accurately reported, and to determine a CQI set such that the bounded differential reporting format allows the values of the CQI set to be reported to reduce under-reporting or over-reporting errors that arise from the use of the bounded differential reporting format, and to form a CSI report including the values of the CQI set using the bounded differential reporting format, and a transmitter arranged to send the CSI report. A method and computer program for implementing the method are also disclosed.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour générer des codes secrets de manière univoque afin de coder des données échangées entre un premier utilisateur et un deuxième utilisateur, par exemple un nœud et un terminal d'un réseau de radiocommunication, sans distribution préalable de clé secrète, sans utilisation de canal auxiliaire, après établissement par le nœud et le terminal d'un avantage radio contrôlé par rapport à tous tiers non autorisés. Le procédé repose notamment sur une implémentation spécifique de schémas de code univoque et secret concaténant astucieusement un code externe et un code interne offrant respectivement la sécurité et la fiabilité dans les transmissions de données.

In some aspects, a radio-frequency (RF) camera system includes a sensor assembly and a data processing system. The sensor assembly includes sensors supported at respective sensor locations. Each sensor is supported at one of the sensor locations and configured to detect RF signals from a field of view defined by the sensor assembly. Each sensor is configured to identify parameters of the RF signals detected by the sensor. The data processing system is configured to receive the parameters identified by the sensors and generate a graphical representation of the field of view based on the parameters.

본 실시예들은 리모트 노드(Remote Node)가 호스트 노드(Host Node)로 채널 적응형 역방향 채널을 전송하는 방법과 그 장치에 관한 것으로서, 리모트 노드(Remote Node)는 호스트 노드(Host Node)로부터 반드시 수신해야 하는 신호를 수신하는 구간에서 순방향 채널의 상태를 측정하고 역방향 채널의 전송 여부를 결정함으로써, 채널 상태가 좋은 경우에 역방향 채널을 전송하여 리모트 노드(Remote Node)의 송신전력을 최소화할 수 있고 지정된 구간에서만 채널 상태 측정을 수행하여 채널 상태 측정에 불필요한 전력이 소모되지 않도록 하여 역방향 채널을 전송하는 리모트 노드(Remote Node)의 전체적인 소모전력을 감소시킬 수 있도록 한다.
