Abstract: Examples of the disclosure describe systems and methods for reducing audio effects of fan noise, specifically, for a wearable system. A method wherein operating a fan of a wearable head device; detecting, with a microphone of the wearable head device, noise generated by the fan; generating a fan reference signal, wherein the fan reference signal represents at least one of a speed of the fan, a mode of the fan, a power output of the fan, and a phase of the fan; deriving a transfer function based on the fan reference signal and based further on the detected noise of the fan; generating a compensation signal based on the transfer function; and while operating the fan of the wearable head device, outputting, by a speaker of the wearable head device, an anti-noise signal, wherein the anti-noise signal is based on the compensation signal.

Abstract: The present invention provides a waste-heat recovery and power generation system for liquid-cooled data centres and computing centres, to capture and use their waste heat and use it to produce electricity, allowing the data centres and computing centres to self-supply a part of their electrical needs in a cost-effective manner. The system uses heat collected from the electronic components to heat and vaporize a working fluid; uses the vaporized working fluid(s) to power an expander; uses the expander to drive an electric generator; uses a condenser to condense the partially cooled vapour expelled from the expander; uses a pump to return the condensed working fluid to the evaporator system; and uses a control system to manage the valves of the heat-capture system and the expander, and to manage the generation system order to maximize efficiency and power quality.

Abstract: An oil temperature management assembly (1) which is fluidly connectable to an oil circulation system (900) of an operating unit of a vehicle (500). The oil temperature management assembly (1) comprises a heat exchanger (2) and a fluid support and connection module (3). The module (3) comprises a module body (4), a thermostatic valve (5) and a bypass valve (6). The module body (4), to which the heat exchanger (2) is operatively connected, comprises: - an assembly inlet mouth (411) through which the oil arriving from the operating unit (500) flows and an assembly outlet mouth (412) through which the oil flows towards the operating unit (500); - an exchanger inlet mouth (421) and an exchanger outlet mouth (422) for the fluid connection of the heat exchanger (2) and the module (3), wherein the exchanger outlet mouth (422) fluidly communicates with the assembly outlet mouth (412). The thermostatic valve (5) is housed in the module body (4), in a thermostatic valve housing (45), and is fluidly connected to the assembly inlet mouth (411) and to the exchanger inlet mouth (421) and to the exchanger outlet mouth (412). The thermostatic valve (5) detects the temperature of the oil entering the module (3) and can be configured with respect to a threshold temperature value in a heat exchange configuration in which it directs the oil towards the exchanger inlet mouth (421) and in a discharge configuration in which it directs the oil towards the assembly outlet mouth (412). The bypass valve (6) is housed in the module body (4), in a bypass valve housing (46), which is in fluid communication with the assembly inlet mouth (411) and with the thermostatic valve (5). The bypass valve (6) is fluidly connected to the assembly outlet mouth (412), and is normally in a closed configuration in which the oil flows entirely towards the thermostatic valve (5) and is configurable in a bypass configuration, as an oil flow having a pressure above the threshold pressure value flows, in which the oil flows directly towards the assembly outlet mouth (412).

The thermostatic valve (5) is housed in the module body (4), fluidly connected to the assembly inlet mouth (411), to the primary exchanger inlet mouth (421) and to the auxiliary mouth (43), and it detects the temperature of the oil entering the module (3) and directs the oil towards the primary exchanger inlet mouth (421) and/ or towards the auxiliary mouth (43).
