Abstract: A method in a network node and an apparatus for determining passive intermodulation (PIM) characteristics at the network node are provided. According to one aspect, a method includes capturing signals from each of at least one antenna port at a first time and a second time. The method includes determining a first covariance matrix based on signals captured at the first time. The method also includes determining a second covariance matrix based on signals captured at the second time. The method further includes determining a difference matrix, the difference matrix being based on a difference between the first and second covariance matrices, the difference matrix corresponding to changes in PIM between the first time and the second time.

Die Recheneinheit (CU) ist dazu ausgebildet, aus dem Vergleich von bei aktivierter und nicht aktivierter Diagnoseschaltung ermittelten Antennensignalen an dem Ausgang (SEO) der Selektionseinheit (SE) auf einen Fehler des Antennensystems zu schließen.

Abstract: There is provided mechanisms for adapting beamformed transmission from a base station. A method is performed by a control node. The control node is configured to control the beamformed transmission. The method comprises obtaining a first piece of information indicative of distance to, and direction towards, a radio communication site relative the base station. The method comprises obtaining a second piece of information indicative of operating radio frequency band of the radio communication site. The method comprises adapting the beamformed transmission so as to keep emission from the base station in the direction towards the radio communication site that contributes within the operating radio frequency band of the radio communication site within a prescribed limit.

A process implemented by the controller of the system for verifying the operation of RF generators and resulting pulse waveforms in semiconductor processes includes generating a pulse profile of a pulse shape of an RF generator under test, selecting a stored, representative profile of an RF generator known to be operating correctly to compare to the profile generated for the RF generator for a same pulse mode, defining a quantitative metric/control limit to identify similarities and/or differences between pulses of same pulse modes between the generated profile of the RF generator and the stored profile, comparing the generated profile and the selected stored profile, and determining if the RF generator under test is operating properly based on the comparison.

Abstract: A method, system, and computer-readable medium are provided for calibrating elements of a MIMO array. The method includes the steps of receiving samples of a signal from a plurality of antenna units included in the MIMO array, generating an antenna domain channel estimate based on the samples of the signal received from each antenna unit, estimating a set of spatial parameters based on the antenna domain channel estimate, generating a reconstructed channel based on the estimated set of spatial parameters, comparing the antenna domain channel estimate and the reconstructed channel to determine errors associated with a set of mismatch parameters for each antenna unit, and adjusting the set of mismatch parameters based on the errors. Each antenna unit in the plurality of antenna units is configured to sample the signal based on a clock corresponding with the antenna unit.
