Abstract:
A system for outputting a visual representation of a brain of a patient is configured to receive sensor data representing a behavior of a region of the brain of the patient. The system retrieves mapping data that maps a prediction value to the region. The prediction value is indicative of an effect on a behavior of the patient responsive to a treatment of the region, the mapping data being indexed to a patient identifier. The system receives, responsive to an application of a stimulation to the region, sensor data representing behavior of the region. The system executes a model that updates, based on the sensor data, the prediction value for the region. The system updates, responsive to executing the model, the mapping data by including the updated prediction value in the mapping data. The system outputs a visual representation of the updated mapping data comprising the updated prediction value.

Abstract:
A data processing system digitally processes data feeds of inhaler device operation. The data feed represents operation of an inhaler device. The system indexes the live data feed with a key value representing the inhaler device for which the live data feed is obtained. For a particular key value indexed in the in-memory data storage, the system queries, a data feed representing physical operation of an inhaler device, segments the live data feed for that particular key value into a plurality of data samples, process at least a portion of the data samples to classify each of the processed data samples; outputs a prompt specifying whether operation of the inhaler device is within a threshold range of operation. Audio data, temperature data, image data, and ranging data can be processed to classify operation of the inhaler device and the order of operations of the inhaler device.

A blood pump includes a housing having an inlet. A rotor disposed in the housing and configured to rotate substantially about the axis to pump blood from the inlet to the outlet. A stator is disposed within the housing and configured to drive rotation of the rotor about the axis. A bearing mechanism for supporting the rotor inside the housing includes a magnetic bearing configured to magnetically support the rotor inside the housing in a radial direction from the axis. The bearing mechanism includes a sliding bearing configured to physically support the rotor inside the housing in an axial direction along the axis of the housing and allow rotation of the rotor substantially about the axis, the sliding bearing comprising at least one point of contact where the rotor is configured to physically contact a trunnion affixed to the housing.
Abstract:
This document describes a digital component deduplication system for generating packetized data with encryption tokens for transmittal over one or more packetized networks. A packetized data search determines that an encryption token is included with the packetized data. The encryption token includes keyed data representing a first digital component. The packetized data search engine searches the keyed database to identify contents, in the keyed database, of one or more entries that includes the keyed data representing the first digital component. A list of candidate digital components is generated. For candidate digital components associated with a data interface for requesting an eligibility value from a second client device associated with the candidate digital component, a security server generates, using the data interface, additional packetized data comprising i) a request for the eligibility value from the second client device, and ii) the encryption token.
Abstract:
A nanocomposite comprising crystalline grains in an amorphous matrix, the crystalline grains comprising an iron (Fe) - nickel (Ni) compound and being separated from one another by the amorphous matrix; and one or more barriers between the crystalline grains and the amorphous matrix, the barriers being configured to inhibit growth of the crystalline grains during forming of the crystalline grains, a barrier of the one or more barriers being between a crystalline grain and the amorphous matrix; wherein the amorphous matrix comprises an increased resistivity relative to a resistivity of the crystalline grains; and wherein the amorphous matrix is configured to reduce losses of the crystalline grains caused by a change in a magnetic field applied to the crystalline grains relative to losses of the crystalline grains that occur without the amorphous matrix.

The MEMS transducer can also include a spring substantially between the first plate and the second plate, the spring including first and second spring arms dimensioned to decrease vertical deflection mismatch between the first and second plates, relative to vertical deflection mismatch of the first and second plates independent of the spring.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for impact analysis. One of the methods includes receiving information about at least two logical data sets, the information identifying, for each logical data set, a field in that logical data set and format information about that field. The method includes receiving information about a transformation identifying a first logical dataset from which the transformation is to receive data and a second logical data set to which the transformed data is provided. The method includes receiving one or more proposed changes to at least one of the fields. The method includes analyzing the proposed changes based on information about the transformation and information about the first logical data set and the second logical data set. The method includes calculating metrics of the proposed change based on the analysis. The method also includes storing information about the metrics.
