Abstract:
A locking roller assembly includes a housing adapted for mounting to an article of furniture. A wheel is rotatably mounted to the housing via a mounting arrangement that accommodates relative vertical movement between the wheel and the housing. The wheel is mounted to an axle, which in turn is secured to an axle carrier. A biasing member, such as a spring, is engaged between the housing and the axle carrier to bias the housing toward a raised position. When a load is applied to the article of furniture, the spring is compressed to as to allow the housing to move vertically downward toward the wheel. The housing includes an engagement surface that engages the wheel when the load is applied and the housing is moved downwardly, to prevent rotation of the wheel and to thereby prevent movement of the article of furniture.
Abstract:
A wheeled leveling device is provided that includes a cabinet bracket, a wheel assembly (16), and an adjustment screw (36). The cabinet bracket (26) includes a pair of slots that include detent portions (32). The wheel assembly includes a roller rotatably secured to a wheel assembly bracket. A pair of rockers secured to the wheel assembly bracket slide into and engage with the slots of the cabinet bracket. The rockers pivot about the detent portions of the slots (28) such that the wheel assembly does not disengage. The adjustment screw passes through a hole in the cabinet bracket and a hole in the wheel assembly bracket and engages with a threaded fastener secured to the wheel assembly bracket. Turning the adjustment screw causes the wheel assembly to pivot about the detent portions of the slots of the cabinet bracket, thereby raising or lowering the roller and hence altering the height of the appliance.
Abstract:
A wheeled support for a grass trimmer or brush cutter is provided, including a support body integrally formed or removably attached to the grass trimmer or brush cutter and two preferably omnidirectional swivel caster wheels attached to a bottom of the support body. The support body can have a variety of different shapes and structures and can be attached to a shaft or a safety guard of the grass trimmer or brush cutter. The support body can also be integrally formed in the safety guard. More than one wheeled support can also be used for one grass trimmer or brush cutter; for instance, one support can be attached to the shaft and one can be attached to the safety guard. Alternatively, two different wheeled supports may be attached to the shaft at different locations.
Abstract:
A spacing bar of a wheelchair frame comprising an elongated structural body having a pair of opposite ends, each of the opposite ends having a C-shaped clamp configured for being clamped to respective lateral frame members of the wheelchair frame, wherein the elongated structural body and the C-shaped clamps are integrally made of a monocoque composite construction, and a tightening assembly for each of the C-shaped clamps, the tightening assemblies being arranged in the spacing bar to loosen and tighten the C- shaped clamps to the respective lateral frame members. A wheelchair frame comprising: a pair of lateral frame members configured to support at least a seat, and front and rear wheel units, the lateral frame members each having an elongated frame portion in a seating zone of the wheelchair frame, and a spacing bar having an elongated structural body and a pair of opposite ends, each of the opposite ends having a connector configured for being clamped to a respective one of the lateral frame member of the wheelchair frame, wherein each of the connectors forms a joint with the respective one of the elongated frame portions constraining the spacing bar to movement of the spacing bar axially along the pair of the elongated frame portion, a tightening assembly for each of the connectors, the tightening assemblies being arranged in the spacing bar to loosen and tighten the connectors to block or allow movement of the spacing bar along the pair of the lateral frame members
Abstract:
A system of bracket assemblies for a wheelchair comprises a pair of bracket assemblies adapted to be connected to respective sides of a seat frame of the wheelchair. Each of the bracket assemblies has a base adapted to be secured to a seat frame member of the seat frame, an arm adapted to be secured to a backrest frame member of a backrest frame, and a pivot pivotally connecting the base to the arm for rotational movement of the arm relative to the base. One or more blocking mechanism blocks the rotational movement of the arm relative to the base in a use orientation of the backrest frame. A rod having opposed ends connected to the base of the pair of the bracket assemblies for spacing the bracket assemblies away from one another. A rear wheel unit is also provided.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a movable table for a projector including: an upper plate having an inclination adjustment plate disposed on top surface thereof in such a manner as to be adjusted in an angle relative to a horizontal plane; a pair of vertical members extended downward from both ends of one side edge of the upper plate in such a manner as to form the legs of the upper plate; a pair of horizontal members extended horizontally from the underside of the pair of vertical members; caster wheels disposed on free ends of the horizontal members and on the undersides of the vertical members; and levelers located adjacent to the caster wheels disposed on the undersides of the pair of vertical members and each having a stroke in a range of separating the caster wheels from the floor.
Abstract:
A front fork assembly for use with a three-wheel agricultural floater has a yoke having a first yoke portion and a second yoke portion extending downwardly from generally opposite ends of an upper yoke portion. A first plurality of wheel mounting points is formed on the first yoke portion and a second plurality of wheel mounting points is formed on the second yoke portion. The front fork assembly further includes a first wheel mounting arrangement formed from selected mounting points of the first plurality and the second plurality of mounting points. A second wheel mounting arrangement, different from the first wheel mounting arrangement, is formed from selected mounting points of the first plurality and the second plurality of mounting points. In this regard, the front fork assembly provides more than one mounting position for a front floatation tire.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a household appliance (1) the height adjustment of which can be done easily by means of a motion transmitter (5) that transmits the force exerted by the user.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for appliance installation and leveling using a leveling caster (10). The leveling caster includes a top shelf (20) connected to wheels (40) by a scissors type structure. The height of the scissors type structure can be adjusted using an adjustment bolt (32) from the front of the appliance, without requiring access to the rear of the appliance. The leveling caster is adjustable over a wide range of heights, is strong enough to bear heavy appliances, and allows height adjustment while minimizing incidental horizontal motion.
