Abstract:
An imaging system having at least two surgical systems, each surgical system having a camera control unit with a network port; a camera head coupled to the camera control unit; and a monitor coupled to the camera control unit; a network is coupled to the network port of each camera control unit; and a server is coupled to the network, the server having a storage device with a user database and a case database; and wherein the server is configured as a web server to provide data, video and images from the camera control units to users connected to the network.
Abstract:
Computer program products, methods, systems, apparatus, and computing entities are provided for sessions with participants and providers. For example, in one embodiment, a provider can interact with multiple participants to conduct interactive treatment sessions. Further, a participant can interact with multiple providers to conduct interactive treatment sessions. For the interactive treatment sessions, motion data and video data of the participant can be simultaneously displayed to the provider.
Abstract:
A system of providing medical review includes a first and second devices. The first device receives a selection of a priority and at least one reviewer from a list of available reviewers (which is obtained in real time based on a priority of the message and reviewer's availability) and generates the review message including metadata of a patient, the received priority, and an identification of the received, selected reviewer. The first device receives an interpretation message based on the transmitted review message. A second device analyzes the review message in which available recommendations are identified based on the events performed and generates the interpretation message which includes a recommendation selected from the identified available recommendation options by a reviewer. The list of available reviewers is generated from the stored plurality of reviewers in real time based on the set priority and current availability of the reviewer.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a system for cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis where many medical doctors in different locations and different time zones are connected simultaneously to the Internet at a specific time to share medical information on the same patient and perform a medical consultation and diagnosis, and a method therefor. To this end, the present invention comprises the steps of: receiving by a cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis system a request for the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis from at least one of a hospital terminal, a doctor terminal and a patient terminal; selecting at least one doctor who is going to participate in the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis at the request; upon receiving the information on the medical history of the target patient from at least one of a hospital server of the designated hospital for the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis, the hospital terminal, the doctor terminal and the patient terminal, providing the information to the selected doctor and performing the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis by controlling communications among the hospital terminal, the doctor terminal and the patient terminal, according to the registered schedule for the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis; and transmitting information on proceedings of the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis to one of the hospital terminal, the doctor terminal and the patient terminal, the information on proceedings containing the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis schedule, comments from the selected doctor, and registered information on the result of the cooperative medical consultation and diagnosis.
Abstract:
An interactive dental restoration method, a system for use between a dentist, and a dental restoration laboratory. The method includes identifying a dental restoration need in a patient; designing a preliminary treatment plan that includes design criteria for preparation of a dental prosthesis to be placed in the patient to satisfy the dental restoration need; transmitting the preliminary treatment plan via a communications network to a dental restoration laboratory; and communicating a final treatment plan, including modifications to the preliminary treatment plan where necessary, to the dentist. The system includes a computer-based dental restoration system of a network server (1610) having a database (1630), a network (1620), and at least one local computer (14). The database stores information about materials, procedures, and preparations concerning dental prostheses.
