Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for patching a fibre web, in which method a fibre web (W) is observed by means of a detection device (30) to detect holes in the fibre web. In the method, when the detection device (30) has detected a hole in the fibre web, at least one piece of patching tape (31) is detachably adhered to a tape applicator roll (22). The patching tape (31) is adhered from the tape applica¬ tor roll (22) to the area of the hole in the fibre web (W) when the fibre web (W) is passed over the tape applicator roll (22). The invention also relates to a device for patching a fibre web, which device (20) comprises a detection device (30) to de¬ tect holes in the fibre web (W). The device (20) further comprises an applicator roll (22) for a patching tape (31), over which roll the fibre web (W) is arranged to run.
Abstract:
A method and a device for producing a winding liner with a spacer for an unvulcanized strip rubber member efficiently with high productivity, and a method and a device for producing the spacer member for a winding liner. A planar for member (RW) unwound from a material unwinding roll (16) is passed between forming gears (19a, 19b) of a forming device (19) to be formed in the shape of protrusions and recesses continuously, an adhesive member (14) is stuck to one side of the protruding and recessed strip spacer members (12a, 12b) and then the bonding surface of the spacer members (12a, 12b) are stuck continuously along the longitudinal side edge of a planar base member (11) unwound from an unwinding device (45).
Abstract:
A tape applicator (51) for applying tape to a substrate, the tape applicator comprising a pair of nip rollers wherein the nip rollers comprise a tape roller (55) and a substrate roller (56), the tape applicator further comprising a tension roller (57) disposed in front of the substrate roller (56) to tension the substrate prior to feeding between the nip rollers, a tape feed and a drive for rotating the nip rollers.
Abstract:
A master processing apparatus (10) for use with a pair of removable feed rolls (18, 20) carrying a supply of stock material includes a frame (12) and a master processing assembly (30) operable to cause adhesive bonding between the stock materials and a master (22). The apparatus includes a cutting assembly (70) and a movable feed tray (44). A master engaging structure engages the master (22) as it is being processed.
Abstract:
This invention provides a stapler apparatus that can recover the binding means securely to the idle position region for smooth binding, even if the binding speed is increased in accordance to the processing speed of the system apparatus that incorporates the binding speed of the stapler apparatus. As a sensor to attain the timing to start the stopping operation of the drive motor, along with the idle position sensor SE1, an actuating position sensor SE2 that detects the actuating position of the binding means to start the stopping operation of the drive motor prior to the idle position, is disposed, the output of the idle position sensor SE1 and the actuating sensor SE2 are used separately, and by selectively using the sensor in the position nearest to attain recovery of the binding means to within the idle position region under the severest conditions of the system apparatus when installing to the system apparatus, and to control based upon the output of that sensor.
