Abstract:
A motor comprises a rotating section; and a stationary section, wherein the rotating section has a shaft, a rotor core fixed to the shaft, and a coil wound around the rotor core, and wherein the stationary section has a brush holding device (1), a housing covering a portion of the brush holding device (1), a magnet fixed to a housing inside, and a bearing that is retained in the housing and supports the shaft. A first circuit board (4) is retained by the brush holding device. The housing has a cylindrical portion, a lid portion, and a bottom portion. The brush holding device (1) has a brush holder (2), a plug (3) extending radially outward from the brush holder (2), a first plug contact element (31) and a second plug contact element (32) extending from the plug (3) to the brush holder (2), and at least two brushes that are respectively connected to the first plug contact element (31) and the second plug contact element (32). The cylindrical portion of the housing has a through-hole penetrating in a radial direction. The plug (3) is exposed to the outside through the through-hole, and ends in an axial direction of the brush holder (2) are covered by the lid portion and the bottom portion of the housing.
Abstract:
A removable objective lens arrangement (5) a removable plate (30), at least one support device (60,70) fixably mounted on the removable plate (30) and an objective lens (40) adjustably mounted within the at least one support device (60, 70) is described.
Abstract:
A logical network directory database compliant with the X.500 standard for a directory data system is disclosed. The network directory database provides a source of subscriber and service data accessible by various control and management processes that require subscriber information. The network directory database may be extensible across various communications service providers and IT domain. Further, the disclosed network directory database may be applied to new and existing services, such as, IP Multimedia Subsystem, Unlicensed Mobile Access (UMA) and other IP services.
Abstract:
A method for synthesis of germanium nanoparticles in thin SiO 2 films comprising: preparing a solution comprising silicon esters, germaniumtetrachloride (GeCl 4 ) or germanium esters, methyl- or higher alcohols, and water; applying the solution to a surface of a substrate; consolidating the solution on the surface of the substrate, thereby obtaining a glass comprising silicon dioxide and germanium dioxide; selectively reducing the germanium dioxide to form germanium nanoparticles.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns the field of nanoparticle bioconjugates which form an i-motif or an i-motif related structure (compositions) (i) without or (ii) with at least one further nucleic acid binding compound (Figure 1). The i-motif base pairs can be charged or non- charged as shown in Figure (1). Their assembly can be controlled by the pH value or temperature. At least one of these nucleic acid binding compounds has to be attached at least to a nanoparticle. The methods provide compositions used for DNA driven programmable nanoparticle assemblies, electronic circuits, diagnostic detection tools, biosensors, memory storage devices, diagnostic devices for biomolecule sequencing and detection, drug delivery, application in tumour diagnostics and treatment, nanomachines, nanofabrication, nanocatalysis, nanoarrays and nanoscaled enzyme reactors.
Abstract:
A method for selecting a preferred cache (312a) for the substantially simultaneous download of digital data from a plurality of caches (312; 312a-312d) is disclosed. The plurality of caches (312; 312a- 312d) hold substantially identical copies of the digital data. The method comprises the steps of requesting an address of the preferred cache (312a) and selecting the preferred cache (312a) from the plurality of caches (312a). The selection of the preferred cache (312a) is derived from a location identifier of a client (102) requesting the download of the digital data.
