Abstract:
A stroller track system is used to facilitate the transporting of a stroller up and down stairs. The stroller track system includes a stroller, a left tread assembly, and a right tread assembly. The left tread assembly and the right tread assembly are mounted to a frame of the stroller and are used to engage multiple stairs while traversing a set of stairs. This allows the stroller to glide smoothly up or down the stairs. The left tread assembly and the right tread assembly each include a first track and a second track. Together, the first track and the second track allow the left tread assembly and the right tread assembly to span a larger section of a staircase. The first track is mounted to the frame through a first stroller-attaching mount. A track- securing bracket is used to mount the second track to the frame.
Abstract:
A multicell rechargeable battery with a dynamic power management system has an enclosure, multiple cell clamps, and a power management system. The enclosure is the outer casing that holds the cell clamps in place. Each of the cell clamps is a device used to hold a single cell for the multicell battery. The enclosure has two trays that sandwich the cell clamps and keep the enclosed cells in place. Each cell clamp has a pair of endcaps and a pair of terminals. The terminals are positioned within the endcaps so that the enclosed cells can be placed into electrical communication with the power management system. The power management system dynamically modifies the circuit connection between each of the cell clamps to compensate for changes in the electrical state of the enclosed cells.
Abstract:
A system and method for authenticating a system user across multiple digital systems using a single biometric key employs a scanning device to preclude the use of passwords and login identifiers when signing into secured digital environments. The scanning device performs a primary biometric scanning operation to obtain a primary multipoint digital image for an anatomical feature of the system user. The primary multipoint digital image is then associated with a system password and username for each of a plurality of secured digital systems. By connecting the scanning device to an external computing device and performing a subsequent biometric scanning operation, the scanning device is able to authenticate the system user and retrieve the system password and username for a specific secured digital system from the plurality of secured digital systems.
Abstract:
A pivoting abdominal exercise machine is used to exercise and strengthen core muscles. The machine includes a hinged frame, a plurality of black supports, and a base stand. The plurality of back supports is connected along the hinged frame. Together, the hinged frame and the plurality of back supports are used to interact with and brace portions of the user's back as the user performs an exercise. The plurality of back supports may either be cushioned pads or rollers. The base stand is mounted to the hinged frame through an elastic pivot resistor. The elastic pivot resistor allows the user to rock, tilt, or twist about the base stand. A frame-grasping assembly is mounted to the hinged frame. The frame-grasping assembly allows the user to hold onto the device and maintain stability while performing exercises.
Abstract:
A board carrier that allows an individual to readily carry a surfboard, paddle board, etc. has a carrier body and a retention strap used in conjunction to encompass the board. The carrier body has a central section that is positioned along an edge of the board, and a first flap and a second flap that are positioned on opposite sides of the board. A handle and a carrier strap are connected to the central section, providing a dual means of carrying the board. The retention strap is fixed to the first flap and removably engaged with a strap fastener that is connected to the second flap. The retention strap is positioned around the board and engaged with the strap fastener to secure the board carrier to the board. A plurality of grips is integrated into the carrier body and the retention strap to prevent the board from slipping.
Abstract:
A plasma air purifier device capable of producing large quantities of positive ions and negative ions, for the purpose of air treatment and purification. Working under graphite point discharge, the present invention produces a large number of small ion clusters which collide with oxygen molecules in the air in order to produce positive and negative ions. The power supply works in conjunction with the main circuit board, sending current to the discharge needle array in order to produce positive ions, via the first electrical lead. Current is also sent to the discharge plate in order to produce negative ions, via the second electrical lead. The plasma air purifier has different modes of function, allowing for different cycles of air purification.
Abstract:
Twice-refracted light, produced by emitting light for refraction from a translucent body, reflection between said translucent body and an opaque section of an upper, and refraction again by the upper, is applied to footwear to create an enhanced internal illumination effect. To create this, at least one light source is connected to a power source and installed into a footwear. The light source is connected to the translucent body, where light is first refracted. The upper can be implemented as a cylindrical elongated strap or as an enclosed part of a footwear. Aesthetic designs can be incorporated into the upper by adding light-refracting sections to the upper, as well as through light-impermeable stencils. To enhance the refraction of light and ultimate brightness and intensity as observed by a person, refractive boundary sections can be incorporated to the translucent body. Further enhancements and alterations regarding the twice-refracted light remain possible.
Abstract:
A grow plant enclosure to maximize plant density for a given growing area has a perimeter frame, a first pane, and a second pane. The first pane is adjacently connected to the perimeter frame, while the second pane is removably attached to the perimeter frame opposite the first pane to form a hollow enclosure. A plurality of plug holder openings traverses through the first pane, and optionally the second pane, being designed to receive a plurality of plant holders for growing various plant types. A plurality of supply tubes traverse into the perimeter frame through a plurality of supply tube openings and each have a plurality of spray nozzles to deliver nutrient solution to the root zone of the plants retained in the plurality of plant holders. Excess nutrient solution is released through a drain fixture positioned about the bottom of the perimeter frame.
Abstract:
A fastener extractor that utilizes a plurality of engagement features to prevent slippage and facilitate torque transfer to the fastener. The fastener extractor includes a torque-tool body and a plurality of engagement features. The torque-tool body is the physical structure used to apply the corresponding force by the plurality of engagement features. Each engagement feature includes a flank line, a transversal line, and a basin line. The flank and the transversal line make up the portion of the feature which directly engages the lateral surfaces of the fastener. The basin line and the transversal line are used to create a complimentary shape tailored to the fastener's design to facilitate a proper fit over or into the fastener.
Abstract:
An infrared lamp is mounted within a frame and an enclosure is attached around the frame in order to create a portable infrared sauna tent. The frame is formed from horizontal tubular members and vertical tubular members, which can be arranged into a cube shape through the use of corner brackets. The enclosure includes a left wall, right wall, and foldable three-panel wall. The left wall and the right wall are attached to opposite sides of the enclosure through the use of hook-and-loop fasteners. The foldable three -panel wall is placed atop the enclosure, with its two side panels being attached to the enclosure through the use of hook-and-loop fasteners. A door is integrated into one of the side panels of the foldable three -panel wall, allowing for human entry to the interior of the enclosure. The infrared lamp is secured within the enclosure to a lamp support member of the frame.
