摘要: Sensor arrangements for a user monitoring system and methods of making thereof are described herein. In one variation, the method comprises providing an interconnected array of bases. For each base, the method includes applying a conductive material to a recessed portion in the base to form at least one conductive region. At least one sensor can be coupled to the at least one conductive region. A conductive member can be coupled to the at least one conductive region. An encapsulating material can be dispensed onto the base, thereby encapsulating the at least one sensor and at least a portion of the conductive member in the recessed portion.

摘要: A sole structure for an article of footwear having an upper includes a midsole. The midsole may include a cushion and a chassis. The cushion extends from a forefoot region to a heel region of the sole structure. The chassis is disposed between a top side of the cushion and the upper. An outsole is mounted to a bottom surface of the midsole. The outsole includes a first outsole portion, a second outsole portion and a third outsole portion. The first outsole portion, the second outsole portion and the third outsole portion are spaced apart from each other so as to provide flexibility to the sole structure. The first outsole portion, the second outsole portion and the third outsole portion may be formed of a first material and a second material. The second material is more durable relative to the first material.

摘要: Methods of changing fluid pressure in a component of an article of footwear include: (a) receiving input data indicating a target pressure for fluid pressure in a first footwear component, wherein the first footwear component is a foot support bladder (200) or a fluid container (400); (b) moving fluid through a continuous fluid line that extends between a first port of a manifold (800) or a sealing connector (840) and a second port of the manifold (800) or sealing connector (840), wherein the first port is in fluid communication with the first footwear component, and wherein the second port is in fluid communication with a second footwear component or an external environment; (c) measuring fluid pressure in the continuous fluid line as fluid moves through the continuous fluid line using a first pressure sensor (850A, 850B); (d) determining an adjusted fluid pressure based on the fluid pressure measured by the first pressure sensor (850A, 850B) during the measuring step; and (e) stopping fluid flow through the continuous fluid line when the adjusted fluid pressure determined in the determining step is within a predetermined range of the target pressure. Such methods can help avoid repeated "starts" and "stops" of fluid transfer components due to pressure "offset" and target pressure overshoot or undershoot.

摘要: Methods of making sole structures for articles of footwear include engaging one or more fluid lines (202, 402, 604, 606) that extend from a sole component (104U, 104L) with a corresponding one or more ports (720, 722, 702O, 704) of a connector (700). The port(s) (720, 722, 702O, 704) of the connector (500) is (are) in fluid communication with opposite end port(s) (712, 718, 702I, 704O) of the connector (700) by internal connector fluid lines (714, 716, 702P, 704P) that extend(s) through the connector 700. The opposite end port(s) (712, 718, 702I, 704O) of the connector (700) are engaged with corresponding manifold port(s) (800A, 800B, 800C, 800D) of a manifold (800) included with a fluid distributor (500). The fluid distributor (500) and the connector (700) then are engaged as a single connected component (750) with the sole component (104U, 104L) or another sole component. Additional aspects of this technology relate to sole structures (104) and/or articles of footwear (100) formed by the methods described above.
