    Abstract: A water control system 100 and installation method. The system includes a pipe network which is, in use, connected to a heated/hot water supply source 1. The pipe network is configured to supply/distribute heated water from the supply source 1 to a primary heated water demand outlet 5 and a secondary water utilisation/storage arrangement 15. The system 100 also includes a control arrangement 104 which is configured, when receiving an activation instruction/signal or an indication that heated water is demanded at the primary demand outlet 5, to prevent/restrict water flow to the primary demand outlet 5 for a period of time and during this time period, divert/direct water flow from the heated/hot water supply source 1 to the secondary water utilisation/storage arrangement 15. After the period of time, the control arrangement diverts/directs water flow from the heated/hot water supply source 1 to the primary demand outlet 5.

    Abstract: The invention relates to a method for mining and processing of an ore. The method comprises at least one mobile comminution device (26) comprising at least one mobile crusher unit and at least one mobile grinding unit located proximate to an ore body that is being mined (20), fragmented ore (22) from the ore body is comminuted in the mobile comminution device (26) to a size which can be readily pumped (28) without the use of special carrier fluids, preferably to a particle size p50 in the range between 0.05 to 1 mm and the comminuted ore is combined with water to form a slurry.

    Abstract: A system and method of electronically signing an electronic document or transaction data are provided. The method includes storing in a non- transitory data-storage device identification data identifying a plurality of signatories and for each signatory the identification of an associated mobile communications device. A processor is operably coupled to a USSD communication module and the data-storage device. The processor receives an instruction to initiate an electronic signature process including an identification of an electronic document or transaction data and a signatory. In response thereto, the processor transmits a signature confirmation request via USSD to a mobile communications device associated with the signatory requesting the signatory to either confirm or decline the electronic signing and waits for a reply. Upon receipt of a USSD reply from the signatory confirming the electronic signing, the processor generates and attaches signature data to the electronic document or transaction data.

    Abstract: A life insurance payment calculation system includes a database connected to a server. Data stored therein includes an identification of a plurality of persons insured by a life insurer, their life insurance plans and information relating to their status with a wellness program. A server processor calculates an amount payable under a university funder benefit of an insurance plan on the occurrence of an insured event. The processor receives data including information relating to the compliance of the insured person with the wellness program and then calculates a percentage value of the benefit to be paid to a third party tuition institution on behalf of the insured person only if an insured event does has not occurred by a predetermined time. The percentage of the payment is based on the compliance of the insured person with a wellness program so that the higher the compliance the higher the percentage value.

    Abstract: This invention relates to a process for recovering value metals from sulphide ore, including steps of crushing ore in a primary crusher (14) to a size of about 40cm and less, passing the crushed ore through one or more of the following pre-beneficiation processes such as bulk sorting (16) and screening (20) followed by coarse floatation (46/50), or gravity separation or magnetic separation. A waste stream (54) from the pre-beneficiation process/es with a particle size greater than 100µm is stacked in a heap (26) and subjected to a heap leach. This integrated process utilises the pre-beneficiation techniques best suited to the characteristics of a particular orebody; and during the pre-beneficiation simultaneously creating a low grade stream that yields significantly higher recoveries than achievable by normal heap leaching of low grade run of mine ore.
