Abstract:
A cleaning apparatus for cleaning a smelt spout of a boiler is provided. The boiler includes a boiler wall defining an outlet port for discharging molten smelt and the smelt spout is positioned with respect to the outlet port so that the molten smelt is able to flow along the smelt spout. The cleaning apparatus includes a cleaning tool having a pair of cleaning blades generally aligned with respective side walls of the smelt spout and an actuating assembly configured to move the cleaning blades from a first position to a second position. The cleaning blades each engage the respective side walls of the smelt spout to dislodge hardened smelt deposits therefrom when in the cleaning blades are in the second position.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to spacer element formed as a longitudinal profile and intended in its using position for creating distance (2) and/or for absorbing loads, pressures, relative motions between preferably glass sheets (3) and/or between glass packages (4) containing several glass sheets (3) , when they are packed against each other preferably in or on a packaging arrangement (5) , such as e.g. a support (6) , wood boxes, paper boards. Said spacer element (1) comprises at least one contact area (7) for contacting direct or indirect against the surface (8) of the glass sheet (3), said contact surface (7) having at least one soft portion (9) extending divided into separated lengths or into whole lengths along the longitudinal direction of the spacer element (1) for contacting against the surface (8) of the glass sheets (3) , said spacer element (1) and said soft portion (9) being extruded together, during so called co-extruding.
Abstract:
The present invention refers to an improvement in or relating to an alarm system (1) attached to at least one glass pane (4) and which comprises at least one circuit (8) for each glass pane (4) such as hardened glass, float glass, decorative glass in the form of, for example, single-ply glass, lamellar glass, thermopane or combinations of these, where polycarbonate and PVB foil in the lamellar glass can also be included, which circuit (8) is connected to at least one electric loop (2), which has a voltage applied across it, where by an alarm is started when the value of resistance in the electric loop (2) is changed, whereby the electric loop (2) with the circuit (8) is connected to at least one electrical voltage converter (3), which provides galvanic insulation between the electric loop (2) including the circuits (8) and the other electronic components.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for use in a still-photography camera for changing the opening of the aperture from a first position to a second position using a stepping motor. The movement of the stepping motor during the control of the movement of the aperture from the first to the second position is controlled so that the motor's movement comprises a first interval of time with varying acceleration and a second interval of time with constant or varying acceleration. The intervals of time are suitably arranged so that the first interval of time is used for the part of the movement of the aperture that comprises the greatest opening of the aperture during the whole of the movement.
