Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for permitting BT communication between a first Bluetooth-enabled device and a second Bluetooth-enabled device, which comprises: (a) providing an alternative wireless transceiver within each of said first and second devices; (b) predefining a trigger operation at each of said first and second devices; (c) upon sensing a trigger at said first and second devices, conveying via said alternative wireless transceivers the BD_ADDRs of the second device to the first device, and storing said BD_ADDR within a dedicated BD_ADDR storage at the destination device; and (d) upon a necessity to establish BT communication between said first and second devices, initiating by one of said devices a completion of pairing stage, thereby completing the pairing between said two devices.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a method of storing cell phone data and an associated cell phone kit and Data Card. The method includes inserting an electronic Data Card into the cell phone. The method then includes copying the data from the cell phone memory to the Data Card and removing the Data Card from the phone. The Data Card may be configured to ignore any prompts from the cell phone to connect to a cellular telecommunications network.

In accordance with one embodiment, there is provided a method of generating dynamic contact information, comprising: providing two or more contact sources each comprising contact information defined for one or more contacts; generating a dynamic contact list comprising one or more electronic contact records with contact information from the contact sources in accordance with one or more rules for inclusion in the dynamic contact list, wherein the rules comprise one of both of a rule based on presence information of the contact and a rule based on location information of the contact; and transmitting the dynamic contact list to a first computing device for display thereon.
