Abstract:
The present invention relates to a solid electrolytic capacitor comprising a layer of self-doping type conductive polymer having a crosslink between polymer chains thereof on the dielectric film formed on a valve-acting metal. The present invention enables to stably produce thin capacitor elements suitable for laminated type solid electrolytic capacitors, showing less short-circuit failure and less fluctuation in the shape of element, which allows to increase the number of laminated elements in a solid electrolytic capacitor chip to make a capacitor having a high capacity, and having less fluctuation in equivalent series resistance.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an organic capacitor having a voltage-controlled variable capacitance. The inventive capacitor comprises at least one first electrode, a second electrode and an insulation layer located therebetween. The inventive capacitor is characterized by having at least one first semiconductor layer, which is placed between the first electrode and the second electrode. A voltage is applied between the first and second electrode and acts upon the semiconductor layer so that at least one concentration of free charge carriers in this at least one first semiconductor layer is controllably varied by the applied voltage. The concentration of the charge carriers defines the capacitance of the capacitor.

The present invention relates to a method for producing a capacitor comprising, as one electrode, an electric conductor having formed on the surface thereof a dielectric layer and, as the other electrode, a semiconductor layer formed on the electric conductor by energization using the electric conductor as the anode, wherein fine protrusions are formed on the dielectric layer before energization; a capacitor produced by the method thereof having a good capacitance appearance factor and a low ESR; and an electronic circuit and an electronic device using the capacitor.
