Abstract:
A prosthesis for large blood vessels comprises a main conduit (2), at least one tract of which is subdivided into a plurality of small conduits (3) located parallel one to another.
Abstract:
Assembly of the frames includes making wooden base frames using metal corner-brackets (16), straps (18) or other traction-resistant elements or through-screws passing obliquely through corners of the frames, resulting in easy assembly and dismounting of the frames for varnishing, maintenance, replacement or other purposes, and also includes a simplified manufacturing process of the wooden components in order to cut linear transversal profile housings (15) for housing metal or PVC elements destined to be coupling components between fixed and mobile frames and guaranteeing necessary seals and heat insulation. The process is suitable, among other things, for manufactured and assembly of large frames.
Abstract:
The apparatus of the invention produces ceramic tiles having decorative effects similar to those of natural stone, and comprises a device with a perforated rotary belt interpositioned between a hopper (12) which loads and dispenses various powder materials and a conveyor belt (11) on which the materials are deposited and distributed in various compositions and mixes to be deposited in tile-forming dies.
Abstract:
A device for the transosseous insertion of suture threads comprises: - a main body (1), equipped with a grip (2), supporting a protruding cannula (3) provided with an active end (30); - a flexible thread-like element (4) which is housed in a coaxially sliding manner inside the cannula (3) and is suitable, on command, for exiting from the active end (30) of the cannula (3). The thread-like element (4) is made of a super-elastic, shape-memory material and thus has the property of freely assuming, at least in an adequate temperature range for which its operative use is foreseen, a natural and predetermined curved form at least in a determined portion of the terminal part thereof. Means are provided for producing the coaxial movement of the thread- like element (4) in the two directions relative to the cannula ( 3 ).
Abstract:
A device for activating a selective and ordered sorting of objects in a plurality of stations of an operative type associated with a sorting apparatus, comprises: at least one flexible member (2) that is loop-wound such as to configure at least one active branch destined to undergo, on command, longitudinal displacements of a predetermined entity; and a plurality of gripping members (3) constrained at predetermined distances along the flexible member (2). The gripping members (3) are destined to perform, on command, a gripping and/or a release of the objects in predetermined positions and are supplied by a source of power that is conveyed to each of them by ducts (4), which are connected by means of a rotating joint (5) to an external supply conduit (6). Each gripping member (3) is provided with a command valve (7), which is piloted in a contactless manner by means of fixed external means operating in predetermined positions at the said stations.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a linear hydraulic actuator which incorporates inside it a piston which can be reciprocally actuated by means of a distributor and a feedback positioning and reversing device. If during its uniform linear travel the actuator meets a resistance or an obstacle, actuating the double- action piston reciprocally will enable the actuator to continue its stroke with intermittent motion and multiplied force without the mobile part of the actuator moving back from the previously reached position and until the obstacle has been overcome.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an apparatus for sorting objects, comprising: gripping means (5) for operating a gripping of single objects conveyed on a conveyor line (1) located upstream, transferring the objects along a trajectory and depositing the objects (10) at predetermined temporary depositing points along the trajectory on a predisposed support structure (2); transfer means for removing on command the objects (10) from the support structure in order to transfer the objects to a station downstream. The gripping means (5) transfer the objects (10) along a trajectory which develops parallel to the support structure (2). Also provided are means for predefining the predetermined points of the trajectory and for enabling identification for a following collection.
Abstract:
An engraved metal sheet (2) has a thickness comprised between 0.003÷0.300 μm and exhibits, on at least a surface thereof, at least a portion of surface on which a holographic-type incision (4,5) is directly made. The metal sheet is usable as a closing and sealing sheet for blister-type packs (I) and exhibits the portion of surface bearing the holographic-type incision facing in an outwards direction. The portion of surface with the incision has an anti- infringement function as it engraves writings and symbols directly in the metal sheet of the blister pack.
Abstract:
A process for series connection of two photovoltaic cells (1a, 1b) in series, comprising following stages: predisposing a first photovoltaic cell (1a) and a second photovoltaic cell (1b), both of a type comprising a photosensitive semiconductor layer (2) provided with front contacts (3a, 3b) and back contacts (4) arranged on opposite surfaces of the cell; partially superposing the two photovoltaic cells (1a, 1b), causing at least a partial superposing of the back contact (4) of the first photovoltaic cell (1a) on the front contact (3a, 3b) of the second photovoltaic cell (1b) and consequently establishing an electrical contact between the back contact (4) and the front contact (3a, 3 b).
Abstract:
A guide device (1) for introducing at least a surgical instrument internally of an organic cavity (2), in particular a vascular cavity comprises a guide body or guide catheter (3) which is substantially hollow and flexible and exhibits an open directing end (8) which is transversal. The device comprises an elongate and flexible guide element (9), which is slidable internally of the guide body (3) to define an advancing guide for the guide body (3). The device (1) also includes means for stabilising (10) for easily piloting the directing end (8) with respect to the transversal cavity (2b) and for advancing the guide catheter. The means for stabilising are defined by a stabilising opening (11) and by an elongate and flexible stabilising element (12) which internally engages the guide body (3) and exits therefrom through the stabilising opening (11) along the cavity occupied by the guide body (3). The stabilising element (12) behaves as a rotation pivot by means of which the operator doing the operation can easily align the directing end (8) of the guide body (3) with the transversal cavity (2b), and guide the directing end (8) into the transversal cavity (2b).
