Abstract:
Abstract:
An LED lamp that can take the place of incandescent lamps. An elevated light source is positioned above a screw type base. A first plurality of LEDs is connected in a series on one side of a flat substrate and a second plurality of LEDs, equal in number to the first, is connected in series on an opposite side of the substrate. Each LED of the first and second plurality of LEDs is mounted proximate a heat sink and a drive circuit is provided for the LEDs, with the drive circuit being located proximate and electrically connected to the screw base.
Abstract:
An emergency light adapter (20) is disclosed to illuminate emergency light (22) in the event a main supply interruption should occur. The adapter (20) has a socket (21) which is shaped to be fitted with main light (40), and a fitting (26) which is shaped to be fitted to another light socket. At least an emergency light (22) is placed on the adapter which is controlled and powered by spare power (48). Two operating embodiments are disclosed to operate the adapter. A manual operation is disclosed where the (adapter 20) can operate in a three state manner. Another operation is disclosed for automatic control with a means to test the condition of the spare power (48). A light sensor (51) disables the emergency light function if there is sufficient light in a room other than the emergency light. The light sensor (51) shall enable the emergency light only when there is low light in a room. The light sensor (51) can be used to enable the emergency light to illuminate as night light when there is low light in a room.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a recessed ceiling light. The light includes an upper protective cap. A lower protective cap has on an upper portion thereof a locking hook engaging with a locking step of the upper protective cap, with a circuit-board locking support being provided in the lower protective cap. A circuit board is supported by the circuit-board locking support. A socket includes a circuit-board coupling part and a lamp coupling part. The circuit-board coupling part includes a rectangular protrusion, circuit-board supports provided on an outer edge of the protrusion, and elastic grooves and circuit-board locking hooks provided on opposite sides of the protrusion. The lamp coupling part includes a fastening hole, a connection part provided on an upper end of the fastening hole, and a fastening part provided on a side of the fastening hole. The lamp includes a fastening terminal and a bulb.
Abstract:
New outdoor and indoor lighting device comprising one or more bulbs (N) and one or more movement and presence and/or twilight and/or noise sensors (M), which cause switch-on/switch-off of said bulb (N). Said sensors (M) can be integral with said bulb (N), extractable and/or positioned at a distance and emit signals (O), such as radio waves, infrared waves, or other remote communication signals, received by at least one receiver (R) integral with the bulb (N), suitable for causing switch-on/switch-off of said bulb (N).
Abstract:
Abstract:
A device designed to be plugged directly into a household power supply socket comprising a sensor for controlling an electrical device, the sensor having selectable sensing orientation and being one of a motion detector, an infrared detector, a photodetector or a sound detector, whereby the sensor generates a control signal to the electrical device, the electrical device being one of a light bulb, a mobile telephone, a security device such as a sound or burglar alarm, or a monitoring device such as a surveillance camera, upon detection of a change in an environment, e.g. movement, ambient light, sound, etc.
