Abstract: A surgical sensor system for collecting internal patient data comprises a sensor module comprising a housing and a sensor disposed within the housing, and an attachment device comprising a socket for receiving the housing and an exterior anchor feature for attaching the attachment device to biological matter. A method of implanting a sensor module for use with an orthopedic implant device comprises making an insertion portal in anatomy of a patient, positioning a sensor module in the anatomy in a first position relative to the insertion portal, and positioning an orthopedic implant in the anatomy in a second position relative to the insertion portal such that the orthopedic implant is separate from the sensor module.

Abstract: A radiofrequency (RF) device for treating tissue in the presence of an electrically conductive fluid includes an outer tube, an inner tube, a wire tube, an electrode, and a wire. The outer tube forms a bend located proximate a distal end. Each of the inner tube and the wire tube extends from the proximal end of the outer tube to the distal end of the outer tube. Tire inner tube and the wire tube each define segmented portions located at the bend of the outer tube. The electrode is connected to the inner tube at a distal end of the inner tube. The segmented portions are each configured to allow the inner tube, the wire tube, and the wire, to respectively flex proximate the bend upon rotation of the inner tube, the ware tube, and the wire about the axis of the outer tube.

Abstract: Disclosed herein are orthopedic impact tools and methods of use thereof. Abstract: Disclosed herein are rotary electric surgical hammer impact tools and methods of use thereof. The disk hammer element can be connected to the shaft and include a radial impact projection. The tool holder element can include a shaft configured to support an implement at one end and a C-shaped structure straddling the disk hammer element. Axial movement within the tool body can cause the radial impact projection to impart impacts to the tool holder element.
