    Abstract: A method includes receiving by a controller, a surgeon-specific surgery profile for an implantation of an implant into a joint, implant profiles, a patient-specific post-surgery desired functional profile of the joint after the implantation, and bone registration data for a first bone member and a second bone member of a patient are inputted into a surgical plan model to generate a surgical plan. The surgical plan model is designed to achieve the patient-specific post-surgery desired functional profile based at least in part on a plurality of dependencies between a plurality of surgical parameters, the implant profiles, at least one functional parameter representative of the expected functional performance of the joint, and movement-related data of the joint. The surgical plan is outputted on a graphical user interface (GUI) on a surgery assistant device to facilitate the implantation.

    Abstract: Eine medial stabilisierende Knieendoprothese (100) für eine Gesamtknie-Arthroplastie unter Erhalt oder unter Dissektion des hinteren Kreuzbandes hat: eine Femur-Lagerfläche (55), welche an einem zur Festlegung an einem distalen Ende eines Femurs eingerichteten Femur-Teil (50) zur Ausrichtung nach distal vorgesehen ist; und eine Tibia-Lagerfläche (15), welche an einem zur Festlegung an einem proximalen Ende einer Tibia eingerichteten Tibia-Teil (10) zur Ausrichtung nach proximal vorgesehen ist. Die Femur-Lagerfläche (55) weist dabei eine konvexe mediale Femur-Kondylen-Lagerfläche und eine konvexe laterale Femur-Kondylen-Lagerfläche auf.     Abstract: An anchored implant (204) device including a baseplate (210) and a separate anchor (324). The baseplate and the anchor are individual components that are configured to be separately installed in or on the bone of the patient to provide fixation of the baseplate to a portion of the bone, such as a (resected) tibia. The anchored implant device may be configured with an adjustment feature to allow the baseplate to move in a superior-inferior direction to maintain a flush mounting of the baseplate on a prepared bone surface in an abnormal condition, such as an anchor being at an inadequate depth within the bone. In some embodiments, a contoured implant device (604) may include a device with contoured features configured to engage corresponding features of a prepared portion of a prepared knee joint.

    Abstract: An intelligent implant includes a component of an implantable prosthesis and an implantable reporting processor (IRP) associated with the implantable prosthesis. The IRP includes a housing having a casing and a cover coupled to the casing, an electronics assembly within the housing, and an antenna within the housing and coupled to the electronics assembly. The antenna is tuned to, and the electronics assembly is configured to enable communication through the antenna at both 2.45GHz and 403MHz (MICS channel). The antenna comprises a flat ribbon configured in a loop and having major surfaces. The antenna is encapsulated within the cover of the housing and is oriented therein with major surfaces of the antenna generally parallel with an inner surface of the cover.

    Abstract: A knee joint prosthesis may be for implantation in a knee of a patient.
