The present invention relates to a filter (105) for a hood (101), comprising at least two filtering layers (401, 402) arranged consecutively along the direction of flow; the filter (105) has a substantially cylindrical shape, thus defining a lateral filtering surface (503), wherein said filtering layers (401, 402) are arranged concentrically on the lateral surface (503), being placed one inside the other. The present invention further relates to a filter- housing assembly, which comprises a housing (106) for receiving the filter (105), wherein the housing (106) comprises at least one bottom aperture (301) providing a fluidic connection between a hood (101) and the filter (105), and further comprises at least one aperture for the outflow of filtered air from said filter (105). Finally, the present invention relates to a hood, such as an extraction hood or a recirculating hood.

It is an object of the invention to provide an apparatus (1) for measuring a gap and/or an alignment and/or a misalignment angle between a first surface (2) and a second surface (3). The apparatus (1) comprises a source (4) of optical radiation, a lens, an image capturing device (6) and a data processing unit (9). The lens is associated with the source (4) and is configured to generate an optical radiation plane from optical radiation emitted from the source (4). The image capturing device (6) is configured to capture an image of a portion of the surface (2), a portion of the second surface (3), and a separation zone between the portions of the first surface (2) and the second surface (3). The orientation of the image capturing device (6) with respect to the source (4) is such that the image capturing device (6) captures an image of an optical radiation profile obtained by projection of the optical radiation plane onto the portions of the first surface (2) and the second surface (3). The data processing unit (9) is operatively connected to the image capturing device (6). It is further an object of the invention to provide a method for measuring a gap and/or an alignment and/or a misalignment angle between a first surface (2) and a second surface (3). The method comprises a step of generating an optical radiation profile on a portion of the first surface (2) and a portion of the second surface (3), a step of activating (1002) an image capturing device (6), and a step of operatively connecting the image capturing device (6) to a data processing unit (9).

The object of the present invention is a seating device (9) comprising a seating (8) and a backrest (7), wherein a portion (7p, 7s) of the backrest (7) is articulated with respect to the seating (8). One characteristic of the seating device (9) consists of the possibility of switching the position of such articulated portion (7p; 7s) of the backrest (7). It is indeed adapted to be switched between a first predefined position and a second predefined position. The first predefined position of the articulated portion (7p; 7s) of the backrest (7) is a retracted position in which the portion (7p; 7s) is adapted to act as a rear abutment element.
