A high pressure hose (10) for use within an umbilical includes a hose liner tube (12) surrounded by a first reinforcement layer (14) comprised substantially of ultra high molecular weight polyethylene fibres and a second reinforcement layer (16) surrounding the first reinforcement layer. The second layer (16) comprises at least 50% aramid fibres. The hose has an outer thermoplastic extruded hose jacket (18).

A flexible hose construction adapted for separately conveying two or more fluids therethrough. The construction includes a core tube, a second tube helically disposed about the core tube, and a tubular jacket surrounding the core tube. The second tube may be substantially concentric with the core tube. The tubular jacket may be substantially cylindrical so as to have a substantially smooth outer surface.

An apparatus (1) for treating a liquid, such as water or a beverage, in order to improve the quality of the liquid, and in order to ensure that the minerals and nutrients which are naturally present in the liquid are assimilated in a living organism consuming the liquid to the maximum extent. The apparatus (1) comprises at least two pipe segments (2) being twisted about a common axis in such a manner that each of the pipe segments (2) at least substantially abuts said common axis, each pipe segment (2) having an inlet opening and an outlet opening (3) , the pipe segments forming parallel flow paths between a common inlet and a common outlet. The liquid performs spiralling movements when flowing through the pipe segments, and thereby the minerals in the liquid are forced to be in a more absorbable form.

Es wird ein Verfahren zum Herstellen einer Fluidleitung (2) und eine entsprechende Fluidleitung (2) angegeben, bei der man mehrere Rohre parallel entlang jeweils einer Schraubenlinie wickelt, am mindestens einem Ende ein Anschlußelement (6, 7) besfestigt und die Rohre in ein Kunstoff einbettet. Man möchte die Herstellung einfach gestalten. Hierzu ist vorgesehen, daß man als Kunststoff einen Flüssigsilikonkautschuk (12) verwendet.

The invention concerns a conduit (1) comprising an internal cavity (3) for receiving a cable or pipe and a guide slot (5) extending continuously over the whole conduit length for a detecting insulated electrical conductor (4). The invention is characterised in that the cavity (3) and the guide slot (5) are made of a single piece and are delimited in a cylindrical sheath (5) obtained by extrusion without external protuberance, and the guide-slot (5), formed between the cavity (3) and the conduit (1) outer wall, is separated from the cavity by a partition (8) linking two internal generators of the sheath (2) to be sealed over the conduit length, opposite the cavity (3) and from outside, said guide-slot (5) containing, freely and without clamping, a portion of the insulated electrical conductor (4) longer than the conduit (1).

The invention concerns a group (18) comprising a conduit (23) transporting a working fluid and a connection (19) along the same path. The connection (19) is mounted freely inside the conduit (23). At each conduit (23) end a joining piece (31) provides for the connection (19) the transition between the fluid path inside and outside parts. The connection (19) passes right through the joining piece without break. The invention is useful for groups for connecting mobile elements in industrial robots.

A kink-resistant hose comprises a tubing and at least one anti-kinking member disposed within an interior volume of the tubing. The outer diameter of the anti-kinking member is less than the inner diameter of the tubing, wherein the anti-kinking member and the tubing are coextruded such that the anti-kinking member is free-floating within the interior volume of the tubing. A cross-sectional area of the anti-kinking member is less than the area of a circle with diameter equal to the maximal diameter of the anti-kinking member. The anti-kinking member thereby defines propped open flow channels, extending radially between an outer surface of the anti-kinking member and an inner surface of the tubing at a kink point, for conveying fluid through a kink in the tubing. A restraint mechanism located in at least the first distal end of the tubing restrains longitudinal movement of the anti-kinking member through the tubing.

Die Erfindung betrifft einen Schlauchanschluss (5), der am Schlauchendbereich zumindest eines flexiblen Schlauches (6) fixierbar ist und der dazu ein, den Schlauchendbereich des zumindest einen Schlauches (6) umgreifendes Außenteil (7) und ein in den lichten Schlauchquerschnitt einführbares Innenteil (8) aufweist. Für den erfindungsgemäßen Schlauchanschluss ist kennzeichnend, dass das Innenteil (8) als Hohlniet ausgebildet und zwischen einer, in den lichten Schlauchquerschnitt des Schlauchendbereichs einführbaren Ausgangsform und einer den zumindest einen Schlauch zwischen dem Innenteil (8) und dem Außenteil (7) dicht und fixierend einspannenden Aufweitform verformbar ist. Die Erfindung befasst sich auch mit einer Schlauchleitung, die beispielsweise auch als Zweikammer- oder Mehrkammer-Schlauchleitung ausgebildet sein kann. Darüber hinaus befasst sich die Erfindung mit einem Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Schlauchanschlusses am Schlauchendbereich eines flexiblen Schlauches.
