摘要: A circular low noise amplifier package (10) having an X-band MMIC low noise amplifier (16) disposed therein, that may be preferably used with an existing stripline receiver board (11) employed in a missile. The package (10) has three input/output ports symmetrically located around the package (10), including DC bias, RF input, and RF output ports. The package (10) mounts directly into the stripline receiver board (11) as a drop-in replacement for an isolator used in the existing stripline receiver board (11). The circular low noise amplifier package (10) having a top cover (12), an upper RF gasket (13), a package lid (14), a hermetic low noise amplifier module (15) containing a low noise amplifier chip (16), a lower RF gasket (17), and a bottom cover (18). The amplifier module (15) has feedthrough pins (21) that extend through the outer wall thereof and couple to the low noise amplifier chip (16). The top and bottom covers (12, 18) are used to secure the amplifier package (10) to the stripline receiver board (11). The upper and lower RF gaskets (13, 17) aid in improving an RF ground. The package lid (14) is seam sealed to the amplifier module (15) to hermetically seal the entire package (10).

摘要: An optical seeker assembly having an optical detector located within the wing or canards of a precision guided munition. The optical seeker provides on-wing processing that generates low bandwidth detection data that can be easily transferred to a primary CPU located within the main body or fuselage of the precision guided munition. The on-wing processing reduces or eliminates the need for optical fibers extending between an optical wedge and an optical detector to reduce the likelihood of optical fibers from impeding in the mechanical deployment of the wing and reduces losses. The reduction or elimination of optical fibers between the optical wedge and the optical detector further enables the optical detection assembly to have a higher pixel ratio or transmitting raw data between the wedge and the detector by sending sampled detection data across a low bandwidth link to a CPU in the main body.

摘要: An apparatus, system, and method for deployment of an electronic warfare (EW) asset are provided. The system includes a projectile launching device capable of launching a projectile round. An EW asset is detachably carried by the projectile round. A deployable parachute is attached to the EW asset, wherein the EW asset is configured to be suspended from the parachute when the EW asset is detached from the projectile round. The related method is used for suppression or obscuration of enemy counterfire radar (CFR) system by initiating an EW effect by the EW asset as the EW asset floats towards a ground surface.

Le mouvement de l'antenne (54) est notamment estimé grâce à la connaissance de la distance séparant l'antenne d'un centre d'inertie de l'objet mobile.

The payload activation device comprises a camera having a fixed focal length, arranged to capture an image of an object on a platform for carrying a payload having the payload activation device, wherein when the payload is in a first position relative to the platform the image of the object is in a first focussed state and when the payload is in a second position relative to the platform the image of the object is in a second focussed state. The payload activation device also comprises a processor configured to determine whether the image of the object is in the first focussed state or the second focussed state and to cause actuation of an activation mechanism within the payload when the image of object is in the second focussed state to activate the payload. The present invention also provides a deployable payload having the payload activation device and an aircraft for carrying the deployable payload.
