Abstract:
The invention concerns a proceeding for off-gas treatment of a wall (1), floor (2), and/or ceiling in a building by a negative pressure ventilated gap (3), and means for the treatment. According to the invention, a number of sheets (4) are laid out, which consist of a plurality of joined thermally insulating bodies (5) and which form a pore system between said bodies (5), against the intended underlayer (1, 2) that is desired to be ventilated free of gases. On the surface (6) of said sheet/sheets (4) turned from said underlayer (1), an essentially air-proof coating (7) is being or is mounted. To said sheet/sheets (4), an exhaust device (8) is coupled, which is arranged to remove the air and the gas (9) exhausted thereby from the building in question.
Abstract:
The invention concerns a gas barrier (1) for floor (2) or other intended surface by means of a cloth or foil (3) that is gas-tight. According to the invention, a flowable covering (6) is arranged on the outside of said gas-tight cloth or foil (3), which is built up from a gas-tight aluminium foil having protecting layers (4, 5) of polymers or other chemical substrate on the sides (3A, 3B) thereof, e.g. polyethylene (PE), fastened by, e.g., being glued or heated in place onto the gas-tight foil (3). Said covering (6) is formed of one or more components, e.g. liquids in pairs, which are mixed and cure in the place (7) for the application thereof to said cloth or foil (3), and adheres to the same in place for the formation of a jointless, gas-tight, homogeneous barrier (8). The invention also concerns a proceeding to produce the gas barrier (1).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a proceeding and means for, among other things, stopping or at least slowing down emission (1) of organic contaminant or other chemical contaminants from subjacent chemically contaminated covered floor (2), wall, ceiling, or other construction surface from penetrating the covering (3) on said floor (2), wall, ceiling, or other construction surface, wherein absorbent (4) is utilized therefor in intended matrix (5) that is applied on said floor (2), wall, ceiling, or other construction surface. According to the invention, the absorbent (4) in question in, e.g., solid state or powdered form is embedded in an encapsulant (6) intended therefor that solidifies, and that, when the matrix (5) is in a liquid state, said absorbents (4) embedded by the encapsulant (6) are added with the intended quantity to said matrix (5), which then is applied on the intended surface therefor with the desired quantity. When the matrix (5) is drying, curing, or in another way is solidifying, said absorbents embedded by the encapsulant (6) are uncovered after the surrounding encapsulant has been disintegrated.
Abstract:
The present invention concerns a prefabricated facade element (100), which is formed of at least one sheet (III) consisting of hardened material as well as an insulating sheet (II) situated along said sheet (III) and made of thermally insulating and pervious insulation material, and an outer surface layer (I). The insulant consists of united thermally insulating bodies having a drainage channel system formed between the same, and said formed insulant sheet (II) is joined with the sheet (III) consisting of hardened material by encasing as well as enclosure of abutting portions of said insulating bodies. Furthermore, the invention concerns a proceeding for making the facade element (100).
Abstract:
The invention concerns a proceeding attending to facades on buildings which have been damaged or which risk being damaged by penetration of moisture in the walls of exterior insulation and finishing system on timber frame. After it is (I) checked if possible penetration of moisture has occurred in the building wall in question and when such has been demonstrated and restoration of the building wall into functional use has been accomplished, (II) there is fitted a pervious and air pressure-equalizing, intermediate layer, along the outside of the facade of existing, at least essentially air-proof and hydrophobic building wall and the principal function of which is to equalize the air pressure on both sides of a rain seal situated outermost, and (III) which said rain seal forms an outer layer of said building wall.
