Abstract: Devices and methods for testing altimeters are provided. A radio-frequency (RF) signal may be received from an altimeter and passed through an RF delay module to delay the RF signal. The delayed RF signal may be converted to an optical signal, which may be passed through an optical delay module to delay the optical signal. The system tests the accuracy of the altimeter based on the combined RF signal delay and optical signal delay.

Abstract: A device may identify a peak timestamp and a trough timestamp based on a first principal component of photoplethysmography (PPG) data associated with a plurality of wavelength channels. The device may generate a peak absorption spectrum based on the peak timestamp and the PPG data, and may generate a trough absorption spectrum based on the trough timestamp and the PPG data. The device may determine a measured arterial blood spectrum based on the peak absorption spectrum and the trough absorption spectrum. The device may fit the arterial blood spectrum model to the measured arterial blood spectrum to determine a set of values, each value in the set of values corresponding to a variable in a set of variables. The device may calculate an arterial oxygen saturation value based on one or more values of the set of values.

Abstract: An optical sensor device includes an optical sensor; an optical filter; a phase mask configured to distribute a plurality of light beams associated with a subject in an encoded pattern; a movement component configured to move the phase mask; and one or more processors configured to: obtain, from the optical sensor, a first set of sensor data that indicates information related to first light that originates at the subject and passes through the phase mask when the phase mask is located at a first position; obtain, from the optical sensor, a second set of sensor data that indicates information related to second light that originates at the subject and passes through the phase mask when the phase mask is located at a second position; determine and provide, based on the first set of sensor data and the second set of sensor data, information associated with the subject.
