The fertilizer 5 composition includes a low molecular weight lignin in an amount of 5 or about 5 to 25 or about 25 weight percent solids, a carbohydrate in an amount of 1 or about 1 to 20 or about 20 weight percent solids, wherein the lignin and carbohydrate form a lignin-carbohydrate mixture; and a urea moiety bonded to the lignin-carbohydrate mixture.

The present disclosure is directed to an apparatus and method for processing lignocellulosic material. The apparatus includes a vessel having a fluid separation plate disposed therein, a fluid circulating system in fluid communication with the vessel and various component parts including nozzles, valves, lines and pumps as needed for discharging processed lignocellulosic materials.
Abstract:
A system for transporting and measuring the quality of cooking oil exiting a fryer unit using a portable oil transport apparatus. The portable oil transport apparatus has at least one sensor for measuring the quality of oil passing through the system. The portable apparatus may be connected to a storage receptacle for disposing of spent cooking oil, or may be connected back to the fryer unit to reuse the oil, based upon the measured quality of the oil. The portable oil transport apparatus may have an oil filter for filtering out unwanted components contained in the cooking oil. The oil quality sensor is capable of measuring the electrical properties of the oil to determine whether the oil should be reused or disposed of.

The present disclosure relates generally to the field of providing a computer-implemented system and method that provides a secure universal electronic transaction card-based payment system. The system provides consumers the ability to conveniently, securely and safely use a single physical universal electronic transaction card, in a standard ISO-7810 credit card form factor that will be accepted at any standard POS device. A multiplicity of transaction account numbers, applets and or tokens are stored in a secure element from which the consumer can transact from any of their credit, debit, pre-paid, club access cards, gift cards, rewards and loyalty cards accounts, using either, Mag Stripe, EMV, or NFC at existing POS terminals, in such a way that only the legitimate owner of the electronic transaction card can activate, provision and unlock the electronic transaction card for use via biometric identification. After the use of the electronic transaction card all information is locked, the card is unusable again without a subsequent biometric identification by the legitimate owner. In the body of this document the universal electronic transaction card will also be referred to as the universal smartcard or the smartcard.

Provided is a paint roller which includes a handle connected to one end of a wire frame and a cage connected to an opposite end of the wire frame onto which a paint roller cover may be positioned and engaged over. The handle may include an insert or adapter allowing for connecting various types of extension poles. The cage may be connected through the wire frame through the use of bearings and bushings.

A force sensor is disclosed herein. The force sensor includes first and second layers formed from electrically conductive material. The force sensor also includes a third layer formed from an electrically insulative material disposed between the first and second layers. The third layer is a mesh defining a distribution of plurality of spaced openings. It is also disclosed herein that the force sensor can be incorporated in an auscultation training system. The auscultation training system can also include an auscultation device operable to be pressed against the force sensor whereby the force sensor emits a signal in response to being pressed. The auscultation training system can also include a controller communicating with the force sensor and operable to receive the signal. The auscultation training system can also include a database of sound files wherein the controller is operable to select one of the sound files in response to the signal.
Abstract:
The present invention is directed toward transparent films prepared from soluble aromatic copolyamides with glass transition temperatures greater than 300 C. The copolyamides, which contain pendant carboxylic groups are solution cast into films using N,N-dimethylacetamide (DMAc), N-methyl-2-pyrrolidinone (NMP), or other polar solvents. The films are thermally cured at temperatures near the copolymer glass transition temperature. After curing, the polymer films display transmittances > 80% from 400 to 750 nm, have coefficients of thermal expansion of less than 20 ppm, and are solvent resistant. The films are useful as flexible substrates for microelectronic devices.

This invention relates to the art of methods and apparatuses for grinding various materials into smaller particles; particularly, to those known in the art as pulverizing systems and devices. This invention provides methods and apparatuses for an improved disc mill assembly that utilizes a tapered flywheel and water jacket in conjunction with planar grinding disk cutting devices to create a tapered grinding channel.

Some embodiments generally relate to a hook assembly, including a pivotable hook body adapted to rotate about a pivot axis running in a generally vertical direction. According to some embodiments, the hook assembly can further include at least one hook portion including a generally vertical recess defined by a portion of the top side of the hook body extending downwardly toward a bottom side. The assembly can further include a pivot member for pivoting the pivotable hook body about the pivot axis; and a frame member adapted to receive the pivotable hook body in a stowed configuration or one or more deployed configurations. Furthermore, frame member is adapted to fix the hook body in a pivotal relation about the pivot axis and can include an indexing opening or seat for defining one or more indexed orientations such as a stowed orientation or a deployed orientation.
