    Abstract: The disclosure relates to a method and apparatus for providing an AM policy for a UE in a wireless communication system. The disclosure is applicable to apply a consistent policy to a UE in a system in which 4G and 5G networks co-exist. According to the disclosure, a BS in a wireless communication system may include a transceiver, and at least one controller coupled to the transceiver. The at least one controller may be configured to determine handover for a UE based on a communication state of the UE, transmit a handover request message for the UE to an AMF, receive a handover command for the UE from the AMF in response to transmitting the handover request message, and perform a handover procedure with the UE. The handover request message may include information related to a rule used to select a network and a frequency applied to the UE.

    Abstract: Embodiments herein disclose a method and first electronic device for collision avoidance in an UWB network. The method further includes identifying in the UWB network, a slot in a mirroring channel for sending an advertisement packet and starting a Reservation Delay Timer (RDT) before reserving the identified slot in the mirroring channel. The method further includes determining whether at least one second electronic device in the UWB network is trying to reserve the identified slot in the mirroring channel while the RDT timer is running. The method further includes performing reserving the identified slot in the mirroring channel in response to determining that the at least one second electronic device is not trying to reserve the identified slot while the RDT timer is running, and sending the advertisement packet for the reservation at expiry of the RDT.

    Abstract: A method for handling contention based data transmission (CBDT) in a wireless communication network is disclosed.     Abstract: A method for allocating power of an electronic device, includes generating a power budget indicating an amount of available power for signal transmission and reception. The method also includes determining whether to prioritize communication signals or radar signals for allocating the available power of a battery. In response to a determination to prioritize the communication signals, the method includes allocating a first portion of the available power for the communication signals and a second portion of the of the available power for the radar signals. In response to a determination to prioritize the radar signals, the method includes allocating the first portion of the available power for the radar signals and the second portion of the of the available power for the communication signals. The method further includes transmitting the communication signals and the radar signals based on the allocation.
