    Abstract: An example distance sensor includes a light projecting system to project a pattern of points of light onto an object. The light projecting system includes a laser light source to project coherent light and a diffractive optical element having a plurality of layers that are etched to form binary step patterns, wherein the plurality of layers is configured to split the coherent light into a plurality of beams of light, wherein each beam of light forms one point of the pattern, and wherein the plurality of layers is further configured to control divergence angles of the beams. The example distance sensor further includes a light receiving system to capture an image of the pattern projected onto the object and a processor to calculate a distance to the object based on an appearance of the pattern in the image and on knowledge of trajectories of the points of light.

    Abstract: In example implementations, a printhead die is provided. The printhead die includes a substrate, a chamber layer formed on the substrate, a plurality of printing fluid ejection chambers coupled to opposite sides of the chamber layer and along a length of the chamber layer, and a top hat layer formed on the chamber layer and the plurality of printing fluid ejection chambers. The chamber layer includes a void to store printing fluid. The top hat layer includes an initial unsupported top hat layer portion over the void, wherein the initial unsupported top hat layer portion comprises a first end that is narrower than a second end.

    Abstract: In example implementations, a display is provided. The display includes a camera, a communication interface, and a processor. The camera is to capture a first image of a head-mounted device (HMD) wearable by a user. The communication interface is to receive pupil data from the HMD. The processor is communicatively coupled to the camera and the wireless communication interface. The processor is to determine a bound of a field-of-view based on the first image of the HMD, track an eye of the user based on the field-of-view and the pupil data to determine a location of focus of the user, and move a second image to the location of focus on the display.

    Abstract: In example implementations, an apparatus is provided.     Abstract: A display device includes a first plurality of pixels, a second plurality of pixels, a first serial-to-parallel converter (SPC), a second SPC, a timing controller, and a switch. The first plurality of pixels forms a first display region to display a first image to be viewed by a user's left eye. The second plurality of pixels forms a second display region to display, simultaneously with display of the first image, a second image to be viewed by the user's right eye. The first SPC is coupled to the first display region; the second SPC is coupled to the second display region. The timing controller detects an indicator in a signal received from a graphics controller. The switch moves, under instruction from the timing controller, to a position that allows identical pixel data extracted from the signal to be transmitted simultaneously to the first SPC and the second SPC.
