For example, the user can perform various activities via exercise machines (e.g., treadmills and/or exercise bicycles) or without machines (e.g., Pilates, running, lifting weights), and the systems and methods can monitor the user's heart rate to determine both specific and overall intensities or efforts expended by the user when performing the activities. The systems and methods can utilize the scoring metrics to present visual graphics or indicia that inform a user of their current effort within an exercise class or activity, their cumulative effort within the class or activity, their comparative effort within the class or activity, and/or other information.

The identification code may be transmitted to a server to store the identification information in a directory for future use.

Abstract: Various embodiments directed to manufacturing a battery assembly or battery pack are described. In some embodiments, the manufacturing process utilizes a welding jig to facilitate the placement and disposition of cell connection materials to battery cells when forming a battery assembly or pack. Using the jig, the connection materials can be fused to the cells using a laser welding process. In doing so, the process enables certain materials, typically unsuitable for welding processes (e.g., spot welding) to be utilized as connection materials between cells.
