Abstract: A data communication system, switching network board and method. The data communication system comprises a quantity of line card frames, each of the line card frames comprises some line cards and at least one of a switching chip and a relay chip. The line card of the same line card frame respectively connects with the switching chip and the relay chip. The switching chip of one line card frame connects with the relay chip of at least one of the other line card frame. The relay chip of one line card frame connects with the switching chip of at least one of the other line card frame. The switching network board comprises the switching chip and the relay chip. Abstract: A method for solving hash collision includes the following steps: Hashing the information, which need to be searched; and according the computed results, searching the corresponding term in hash table; the hash table comprises the header of linked list, pointer and trial of linked list; if the trial of linked list in hash table has been searched, and at the same time the corresponding term is not hit, the process of hash search is stopped. In addition, an apparatus for solving hash collision is provided. The apparatus includes the hash-computing module and the searching matched term module. The method and apparatus of the present invention can avoid the unnecessary operation of searching empty term in hash table, and in process of solving hash collision, shorten the time that is used to search whether the matched term is in existence or not.
