Abstract: A method of communication between the terminals is provided, which includes: the access network corresponding to the resource terminal receiving the packet sent by the resource terminal; determining the access network and the core network corresponding to the target terminal of the packet; if the target terminal of the packet together with the resource terminal is under the same core network but corresponding to the different access network, the access network corresponding to the resource terminal sending directly the packet to the access network corresponding to the target terminal; and the access network corresponding to the target terminal sends the packet to the target terminal. In the solution, since the packet between the terminals corresponding to the different access network under the same core network is directly transferred between the access network, without the help of the core network, therefore, the communication between the terminals can reduce the load of the core network.
