A cathode ray tube-use glass funnel, wherein the glass of a body (3) contains at least Na2O and K2O, electric conductivity at the strain point of the glass is at least 4 x 10-6S/cm, electric conductivity at 150ringC is up to 5 x 10-12S/cm, and a compressive stress layer is formed on at least part of the surface of the body (3) by a chemical strengthening method.
