Abstract: Control device for the electromagnet coil of a switching apparatus, comprising a MOS transistor switch (12) in series with the coil (B), a double alternation rectifier (11) supplying the coil, a signal regenerator having a closed-loop control circuit (13) connected to a current reading element in the coil and providing to the switch a control signal having a call level and a hold level, and a voltage reducing circuit (14) connected to the direct terminals of the coil. The closed-loop control circuit (13) is connected to the MOS transistor grid and holds the current (IB) of the coil to a level independent of the source voltage.
