    Abstract: ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems AB has developed the present invention which relates to a Door operator arrangement (100) for a folding door system (10) comprising folding door (30) having a plurality of pivotably interconnected door leaves (31, 32) foldable relative each other and movably connected to a folding door rail (12), the door operator arrangement (100) comprising a door operator (130) and a curved elongated transmission element (160). The door operator (100) is configured to be mounted to one of the door leaves (31, 32) of the folding door (30), the door operator (130) comprising a motor (171) and driven transmission member (175) driven by said motor (171). The driven transmission member (175) is arranged to be in engagement with the curved elongated transmission element (160). Present invention further relates to a folding door system comprising such a door operator arrangement (100).

    Abstract: A monitoring device (100) for an overhead door system is provided. The monitoring device (100) comprises an arm arrangement comprising an arm (130) and a spring (124), wherein the spring (124) is connected to the at least one cable (C), an electrical switch (120) being in operative communication with the at least one motor (28), wherein the spring (124) of the arm arrangement is configured to detect break or tension drop in the at least one cable (C), causing the arm (130) to move towards the electrical switch (120). The monitoring device (100) further comprises a device (110; 140) for damping the movement of the arm (130) in its movement towards the electrical switch (120).

    Abstract: Disclosed is a sectional door adapted to withstand high wind load and impact from flying debris. The door includes a glazing bead to secure glazing panels into frames formed by the rails and stiles of the door. The bead is connected with the frame by engagement between extensions on the bead and respective lips along the edges of the frame. The bead is pressed against the frame, causing the extension to elastically flex to allow the extensions to fit between the lips. The extensions are received in gaps formed by the lips to secure the bead in place on the frame. Force on the door cause by high winds is communicated from the glazing panel through the bead and to the frame. The door also includes reinforcements arranged along the rails to communicate forces, such as high wind load forces, from the frame to the edges of the doorway surrounding the door. The reinforcements include endcaps that increase stiffness of the rails to prevent the rails from buckling during severe weather events.
