    Abstract: Automatic machine for cambering thin and rectilinear metal elements such as wires, metal strips or tubes. According to the invention, said machine comprises grippers (2) intended to position and hold on a first axis (X) a section of metal element to be bent, as well as two bending devices (3, 4) displaceable on either side of the gripper (2) on a rail (7) parallel to the axis (X). Each bending device is provided with two jaws (17 and 18) between which the metal element section may be clamped at each stop that the bending device makes, as well as a bending finger capable of rotating about an axis perpendicular to the axis (X) at right angles with the tips of the jaws (17, 18) which form the bending counterparts. According to an essential characteristic of the invention, the gripper (2) may also be subjected to an angular rotation about the axis (X).
