Abstract: Described is a process for clearing faults in machines, in particular spinning machines, in which fault signals are fed from the machine to a process-control computer which controls the removal of the faults. The process-control computer is used to control an alarm-message transmitter which calls a designated specialist to a particular machine to clear the fault.
