Abstract:
Disclosed are a sheet punching apparatus and a method for controlling the same in which the side end position of a sheet, its rear end position, a hole position, and the detachment state of a punch portion are sensed only by two sensors, and a punching hole can be formed at the exact position of a sheet by means of the two sensors. The sheet punching apparatus includes a punch portion (120) moving in a direction perpendicular to a moving direction of a sheet, a bracket (122) having an elastic member (12) to move in conjunction with the punch portion (120), a sheet side end sensing means (S10) fixed to a predetermined position of the bracket, sensing the side end of the sheet in accordance with movement of the bracket, and a sheet rear end sensing means (S20) opened to sense the rear end of the moving sheet when the bracket moves at a predetermined distance along with the punch portion to sense the side end of the sheet, wherein the punch portion (120) works to punch the sheet at a predetermined position after the rear end of the sheet is sensed by the sheet rear end sensing means.
Abstract:
A paper binding system of an image forming apparatus, such as a printer and a copier, and a method for controlling the same are disclosed, in which finishing processes such as stapling and folding are performed by exactly gripping papers ejected from the image forming apparatus without any scattering. The paper binding system of the image forming apparatus includes a paper moving means 150 moving papers ejected from the image forming apparatus, a paper positioning unit 88 temporarily receiving the papers moved from the paper moving means and positioning them, a stapler unit 84 stapling the papers received in the paper positioning unit, a folding means 151 folding the stapled papers, and an eject tray 135 receiving the papers finished through the stapler unit and/or the folding means.
Abstract:
A method for preventing abuse of a search log is provided. The method includes selecting a subject of abnormal action inspection from the search log and detecting an abnormal action by scoring the extent of deviation of the selected subject from the normal. The method may further include correcting the search log by removing the detected abnormal action from the search log using a predetermined point-deduction logic. This method efficiently removes detected abnormal actions from search logs, thereby preventing abuse of search logs and maintaining the search logs clean.
Abstract:
A system for autocompleting a general recommended word and an advertising recommended word, the system including: a first database configured to maintain an autocomplete general recommend word; a second database configured to maintain an autocomplete advertising recommended word; an autocomplete indexer component configured to index the autocomplete general recommended word and the autocomplete advertising recommended word; an autocomplete index database configured to classify and store the indexed autocomplete general recommended word and the autocomplete advertising recommended word; a web server configured to 1) receive an input query, and 2) transmit the input query to a predetermined query autocompletion server, and 3) receive the autocomplete general recommended word and the autocomplete advertising recommended word, and 4) display the autocomplete general recommended word and the autocomplete advertising recommended word; and the query autocompletion server is provided.
