Abstract:
The present disclosure provides an antiperspirant composition that includes active component and an inactive component. The antiperspirant composition can be present as a stick antiperspirant, a body spray, a clear gel, or an aerosol antiperspirant. The active component can include a film former and an extract solution. The extract solution can include nymphaea coerulea flower extract and nelumbo nucifera flower extract.
Abstract:
The instant disclosure generally relates to a dual component hair coloring composition for coloring mammalian or synthetic keratin fibers, the composition comprising composition A comprising a cationic polymer, pigment microparticles and an aqueous medium, and comprising composition B comprising an anionic polymer, aqueous medium and optional cross linking agent. Optionally or alternatively composition B may contain pigment particles. The cationic and anionic polymers are at least partially soluble in the medium and the pigment microparticles are dispersed therein. The hair coloring composition forms a dual layer coating upon application to keratin fibers such as hair and has a substantially permanent pigment lastingness following development (setting); minimally alters the keratin fibers, upon application; and substantially eliminates development time. Methods of using such compositions are also described herein.
Abstract:
Inventive embodiments disclosed herein include a cosmetic device for imparting a three dimensional microscale design or impressing image such as holographic and other microstructure or refractive image to a cosmetic coating on a keratinous surface. The device includes a casting film having a surface defining a design having three dimensions, positionable over the keratinous surface, wherein the design faces and contacts a coating on the keratinous surface, the design transferred to the coating so that the casting film is removable from the coating after the coating is cured.
Abstract:
Inventive embodiments disclosed herein include formulation embodiments for promoting a reduction in skin pigmentation. The inventive formulation embodiments Hibiscus acids, a Halidrys formulation that includes water; glycerin; Sargassum Muticum Extractand one or more alpha hydroxyl acids in concentrations for reducing melanin concentrations in melanin containing cells upon contact.
Abstract:
Embodiments disclosed herein include a deodorant or antiperspirant base that includes cyclomethicone and propylene glycol dispersed in the cyclomethicone.
Abstract:
An antiperspirant composition may include an aqueous carrier; and at least 4 to 7 weight percent of an aluminum and/or aluminum-zirconium antiperspirant active containing at least a Peak 4 specie. An antiperspirant composition may also include an aqueous carrier; and an aluminum and/or aluminum-zirconium antiperspirant active containing at least a Peak 4 specie, wherein the antiperspirant active contains less than 3 area percent Peak 1 and/or Peak 2 species from an HPLC chromatograph of the antiperspirant composition.
