Abstract: The invention relates to a wiper blade rubber element (10), especially for a motor vehicle windscreen-wiping device. The inventive wiper blade rubber element (10) can be fixed to a wiper arm and has a head (12) for holding the rubber element (10) and a lip (14) which lies on the surface to be wiped. According to the invention, the lip (14) is connected to the head (12) by an elastic intermediate part (16). This intermediate part (16) is subjected to a force in accordance with the wiping direction of the wiper blade rubber element (10), said force acting exclusively on the intermediate part (16), so that the lip (14) is guided in the opposite direction to the wiping direction.
