Abstract: A rotor (25) is provided for a rotary piston pump or other rotary machine. The rotor (25) is partite, comprising an assembly of a plurality of modular elements (12). The rotor assembly (25) is covered in a coating material (63) which can be an epoxy resin. A method of making a coated rotor is also provided.

Abstract: The present invention provides a support for frame (10) for a rotary machine (12), particularly a Roots blower, capable of providing support for the machine (12) whilst submerged in a body of liquid. A suspension arm (18) depends downwardly from an upper transom (19) and bears a bracket (32) having mounts (36) by which the machine (12) is mountable to the frame (10) so as to be suspended therefrom.
