Abstract:
An open rotor assembly (1) provided with an accelerating member (2) that comprises a sliding block member (3) that is provided with two open centrifugal locking chambers, stretching respectively along the bottom side and the top side providing with a standing block pressure side facing the outer edge of the rotor, and an attachment member (4) that is provided with two centrifugal locking members, which fit the locking chambers for attachment of the sliding block member to the attachment member; such that the sliding block member is centrifugally locked to the attachment member, avoiding the need to provide the sliding block member with any separate locking and/or securing arrangement.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a crusher housing (67) which is provided with a lid member (69) that is provided with an inner lid lining face (82) that is positioned as closely as practical possible to the open rotor (72) creating essentially a sandwich rotor with a rotating rotor table and a stationary roof with minimum free space between the top side of the sliding members (85) and the inner lid lining face (82), which configuration provides the crushing chamber with a number of unique features in that vortex building and turbulence in the crushing chamber are severely limited, such that the particles are focused for accurate and undisturbed impact; increasing the reduction ratio, providing constancy to the breakage process - resulting in less oversize and less undersize, better shaping and a high degree of selectivity - and reduces wear along the feed opening and along the inner lid lining in dramatic way, saves on energy, and limits dust formation.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a crusher housing that is provided with an impact block member (4) that is composed of impact blocks (47) which stretches along the drum wall such that at least one essentially closed inner space is created between the impact block member and the drum wall, such that the closed inner space fills with particle material when the impact block starts to wear through, creating a partly worn through impact face (14) that is partly autogenous of own material, which is compacted by repetitive impact, such that the partly worn through impact face provides still significant impact intensity as well as temporary protection to the construction behind the impact block member, which impact block member (4) is supported with the aid of at least one support member (25) such that collapse into the crushing chamber of the upper part of the impact block and/or of the lower part of the impact block is hindered, when an impact block (47) wears through completely.
Abstract:
A rotor of the open type, rotatable in one or both directions of rotation, provided with a composed accelerating member (5) that comprises a radially arranged multiple block sliding member (11) and at least one attachment member (13), which radially arranged multiple sliding block member is of at least two sliding block parts (29,30), arranged in a radial direction, each provided with a sliding face part (31,34), directed in the same direction of rotation, creating a radially arranged multiple sliding face; the radially arranged multiple block sliding member, simple, dividing the weight of the sliding block member over at least two sliding block parts, limiting handling weight, limiting the centrifugal force generated by the sliding block part, essentially, without affecting acceleration performance.
