Abstract:
A portable, remote-controlled or automated robotic (capable of operating in an unmanned mode) transceiver using a directional antenna pointing system. The system comprises a highly integrated, wireless, self-contained transceiver with robotic antenna pointing and an interface system for satellite, conventional antenna, and radar applications for personal, commercial, and military use.
Abstract:
A ball ejection apparatus is provided. Balls are released from a ball storage means and positioned into a ball ejection means (5) where they are launched at a selected velocity and trajectory. The ejection means (12) is capable of a sweeping motion both horizontally and vertically in order to determine the ejection direction and azimuth, the ejection means (12) is capable setting the ejection speed. The balls are released to a ball holder (15) out of a ball storage means (2) and through a ramp (14) and then singly through a release system (19, 20). The ejection direction and ejection speed can be controlled through an instruction set program or through the remote control unit (110). The system offers various possibilities for the training or for the practice of a ball sport, in particular, basketball.
Abstract:
A smoothie dispenser (20, 2OS, 20A) comprises a frame (22); a smoothie receptacle storage section (24); and a receptacle conformed chiller section (26). The smoothie receptacle storage section (24) is provided within the frame (22) and configured to house plural smoothie receptacles (30) at a first temperature. The chiller section (26) is arranged to receive a selected smoothie receptacle released from the smoothie receptacle storage section and configured to crystallize contents of the selected smoothie receptacle. The receptacle conformed chiller section (26) is "receptacle conformed" in the sense that a surface of the chiller section is configured to conform to (e.g., have a surface of shape to mate with or to form substantially greater than linear contact with) at least a portion an exterior profile or periphery of the selected smoothie receptacle.
Abstract:
Provided is an apparatus comprising a tray assembly and a wedge rod assembly. The tray assembly includes a roughly-cylindrical paint well, tool orifices, and a handle for one-handed carrying, adjusting, and moving the tray. A button is provided on the handle to allow detachment of the tray from a ladder without the need for two handed operation. A locking or wedge rod assembly is provided for securely interfacing the tray assembly to a hollow-rung ladder. By rotating a grip on the wedge rod assembly, a top platform on the wedge rod assembly extends vertically to engage the interior surfaces of a rung of the ladder, and thereby locks the wedge rod into place. The tray assembly may then be adjusted to the desired angle and attached to the locked wedge rod assembly by engaging the coupling areas. Depressing a button on the handle of the tray assembly releases the tray from the wedge rod assembly and ladder.
