Abstract:
The use of aqueous preparations of acid-curing malamine resins and/or urea formaldehyde condensates is facilitated if they contain a zeolite NaA and/or hydrosodalith additive. These preparations are particularly suitable for use in consolidating rock and/or filling cavities, e.g. in tunnelling or mining. In a process for consolidating rock, e.g. in tunnelling or mining, suitable preparations are injected together with an acid hardener.
Abstract:
The description relates to a process for stabilising rock, e.g. in tunnelling and mining, by the injection of aqueous preparations of melamine resin and/or urea-formaldehyde condensates together with an acid curing agent. In the process, the curing agents used are aqueous solutions of alkali and/or ammonium bisulphate. The curing agent solutions may also contain additional auxiliaries and active substances like corrosion protection inhibitors, structuring agents and adhesion promoters. Preferred resin solutions for stabilising with these aqueous curing agents contain zeolith NaA and/or hydrosodalith to increase their usability, especially their shelf life.
