Abstract:
This disclosure provides systems, methods, and apparatuses, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for wireless communication. In one aspect of the disclosure, a user equipment (UE) is configured to transmit, when area information of the UE matches area information of a service, a request to register with a local area data network (LADN). The UE is further configured to transmit, when the area information matches LADN service area information corresponding to the LADN, a request to establish a protocol data unit (PDU) session for the service. In another aspect, a UE is configured to send a request for LADN information to a network entity. The request includes an application identifier or a service identifier. The UE is further configured to receive, from the network entity, a response indicating a LADN and an area associated with the LADN, and communicate with the LADN based on the indicated area.
Abstract:
A helmet retention system having a first side strap system configured to connect to a first side of a helmet and a second side strap system configured to connect to an opposite second side of a helmet is provided. A chin cup and a chin cup connecting mechanism are provided. The chin cup connecting mechanism is configured to connect the first and second side strap systems in an area about the user's chin and to vary the amount of tension in the system between at least two predefined tension states. Strap adjusters provide a cam design for tensioning the straps and retaining the adjustors fixed to the straps at the desired adjustment under external force applied to the straps. Anchors provide secure mounting of the straps to the helmet.
Abstract:
A helmet assembly including a mandible bracket configured to connect a mandible to a helmet, at least one strap connected to the mandible bracket and configured to extend from the mandible bracket to a rear portion of a helmet. The assembly includes at least one strap guide having a strap engaging portion connected to the strap along a length of the strap for connecting the strap to a helmet, and a fastener engaging portion configured to connect to a fastener attached to a helmet.
Abstract:
Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for edge application service access. A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) generally includes sending, to a first network entity, a request for local area data network (LADN) information, wherein the request includes at least one of an application identifier or a service identifier. The method also includes receiving, from the first network entity, a response indicating a first LADN and a first area associated with the first LADN and communicating with the first LADN based at least in part on the indicated first area.
Abstract:
A helmet assembly including a mandible bracket configured to connect a mandible to a helmet, with at least one strap connected to the mandible bracket and configured to extend from the mandible bracket to a helmet. The assembly includes at least one strap guide having a strap engaging portion connected to the strap along a length of the strap for connecting the strap to a helmet. The strap guide is removably attachable to the helmet, and in some embodiments the strap guide may be attached and/or removed through movement along a lengthwise direction of the strap, including in a horizontal direction. The assembly may secure an accessory other than a mandible to the helmet, and sufficient force on the accessory may remove the strap guide from the helmet.

Abstract:
A helmet assembly is provided including a front mount configured to attach to the front of the helmet above a brim of the helmet, a mandible for protecting a portion of the user's face, a lower edge rim mounting portion such as a halo attached along the lower edge of the helmet for securing the mandible to a helmet and providing power and data conduits. The front mount provides a center top mounting arrangement that operatively connects a center top location of the face shield to a center front mount on the helmet. The mount provides frontal bracket portions for mounting accessories. The helmet assembly provides a helmet shell with a curved shape having a surrounding reinforcing ridge. A reeling system is provided for adjusting front and lower chin straps. Other improvements in helmet assemblies are also disclosed.
