Abstract: A method of automatic image rejection and monitoring of a frequency modulated continuous-wave (FMCW) radar system, includes generating a quadrature FMCW signal comprising an in-phase signal and a quadrature signal by a dual output FMCW signal generator (102). The in-phase signal and the quadrature signal are transmitted. A radar signal comprising a response in-phase and quadrature signal is received in response to the transmitted in-phase signal and the quadrature signal. The response in-phase and quadrature signals are provided to an analog to digital converter (ADC (130)). An in-phase beat signal (Beat-I) and a quadrature beat signal (Beat-Q) are extracted from the ADC (130), based on a received windowing signal. A relative phase and/or amplitude adjustment is generated by providing a phase calibration variable (θ t) and/or an amplitude calibration variable (A t) as input to the dual output FMCW signal generator (102), based on a correlation between the Beat-I and the Beat-Q.

The device can apply the control signal to the electrical load of the first circuit board to adjust a current consumption by the electrical load.

Abstract: A method (100) of singulating IC chips from a wafer (200) is provided. The method can include receiving the wafer (200) having a substrate (302) formed under active layers. The wafer (200) includes a chip that includes a first portion of the active layers and a first portion of the substrate (302). A separation trench (220A') is formed by using an etch operation to remove a first segment of the active layers and a first segment of the substrate (302) that are beneath a first separation channel (220) of the wafer (200). The separation trench (220A') separates the first portion of the active layers from a remaining portion of the active layers; and separates the first portion of the substrate (302) from a remaining portion of the substrate (302). The first IC chip is seperated from the wafer (200) by removing a first section of the remaining portion of the substrate (302) that is underneath the first portion of the substrate (302).

Abstract: Techniques include executing a software program having a function call to a shared library and reloading the shared library without stopping execution of the software program. A global offset table (GOT) is updated responsive to resolving a link address associated with the function call. An entry in GOT included a link address field, an index field, and a resolved field, the updating including updating the index field with an affirmative value and marking the resolved field with an affirmative flag for the entry in the GOT. Responsive to reloading the shared library, the entry in the GOT is found having the affirmative value in the index field and the affirmative flag in the resolved field. An address value in the link address field is returned for the entry having the affirmative value in the index field, responsive to a subsequent execution of the function call to the shared library.

Abstract: A method, apparatus and computer program product for controlling a web-based presentation is described. In the method, the already presented content and future content of the presentation is analyzed, when a user question is received from a user terminal communicatively coupled to the web-based presentation, the user question is buffered so that the system can determine whether content answering the user question has been or will be presented in the presentation based on the analyzed content. Responsive to the determination, the system will perform an action, the system will provide the user one of the following: 1) the system will provide a notification related to the answering content in a user interface, if the answering content has been, or will be, presented in the presentation, and maintaining the user question in a buffer state; or 2) the system will release the user question from the buffer state to allow the user question to be forwarded to a presenter of the presentation if the content has not been, and will not be presented.

The method further includes one or more processors instructing auto-scaling of a cluster of worker nodes to changed number of worker nodes available in the cluster based on the comparison, over a defined period of time, of the query traffic relative to a defined upscaling threshold and a defined downscaling threshold.
