摘要： The present invention relates to anticancer agents having peptides produced from silkworm cocoon as an effective component, more specifically to anticancer agents having peptides produced by hydrolysis of fibroin which is obtained by extracting the silk thread or waste silk thread of silkworm cocoon. According to the present invention, the anticancer peptides capable of inhibiting the damage of DNA from foreign carcinogens and improving the immune activity may be produced from the fibroin hydrolyate extracted from the silk thread or waste silk thread of silkworm cocoon. The anticancer peptides of the invention may be applied to medicine and functional food having anticancer activity, so that it can contribute to the development of medicines useful for prevention and treatment of cancer.
