Abstract: Polytetrafluoroethylene powder for molding, which contains 0.01-1 wt.% of perfluorovinyl ether units, has a heat of crystallization of 18.0-25.0 J/g, and provides a molded article having a bending life of 7 million cycles or above, a creep resistance (at 200 °C, total deformation) of 20 % or less, and a creep resistance (at 25 °C, total deformation) of 15 % or less. The powder is excellent in both creep resistance and bending fatigue resistance required of a molding material for the parts of a machine subjected to repeated bending, such as a pump.
