Abstract: A system includes a processing system and an interface for receiving a source signal from an audio source. The system further includes a first interface for sending a first audio signal to a first audio output device; and a second interface for sending a second audio signal to a second audio output device. The processing system is configured to conduct a processing task on the source signal to create a processed signal and to send the processed signal to the first interface, the second interface, or to the first and second interfaces prior to the transmission of the first audio signal and the second audio signal from the first and second interfaces.
