摘要： A process of producing a polyamide dispersion includes heating a polyamide to above its melting point; adding a surfactant to form a mixture; under shearing conditions, adding water solution having a basic pH to the mixture to form a sheared mixture; and cooling the sheared mixture to provide the polyamide dispersion; wherein the process is conducted in the absence of an organic solvent, and the sheared mixture comprises particles of a polyamide having a volume mean particle size of less than 1 micron.
